Yuki nodded before hoisting Mayu onto her back and continuing her way towards the grocery store.
Mayu was pretty light so she was still able to keep a quick pace.

Yuki didn't notice this and kept on walking until finally they reached the grocery store at the edge of town.

And with that she rushed off, leaving Mayu there by her loansome.

Mayu scoffed and sat down, waiting for her to return...
She didn't notice anyone coming from the crevice nearby, or that its hand was reaching to grab her. The resulting scream was quickly silenced, and Mayu was gone.
