The door burst open, showing Kizaki and over a dozen Mages.
"Did you think a door is just a door?" Kizaki questioned, "It's a magical sensor. Every time someone enters or exits, we know. She is our valuable tool, after all."

Kizaki appeared behind both of them, his hand reaching around and hovering over Koyomi's heart.
"You don't understand," he told the intruder. A spell seal formed beneath his hand, and Koyomi stiffened.

"Watch," Kizaki hissed, taking grip of a shaft that appeared out of her torso. She screamed as a polearm with a crystaline blade was drawn from her chest. The girl collapsed while Kizaki stood over her.

He swung the weapon in front of himself, creating a thin crystalline wall to catch the attacks, dispersing them. "Staff of the Crystal Edge," he told her, "It will pierce your heart."
