As the Gatherers tried to flee, tendrils of wire and scrap shot out, piercing through them and dragging them back and into the mound of scrap, a ghastly sound of grinding flesh and bones. "Oh dear fucking gods."

"Oh dear... lord, is it... eating them?" Claudia asked, almost about to throw up behind her mask. She turned away, listening to the Gatherers gurgle in terror as they were dragged in.

Slowly, the pile started to stretch upwards, compressing inward and shaping a silhouette of a body, a static-sounding voice resounding forth. "We must thank you...for delivering our father's gift. What he failed to realize is that we anticipated his actions and evolved. We used his gift and his new pets to feed our evolution, and now we have achieved new power."

Kakeru growled, readying his lance. "I knew this was a bad idea!" The silhouette cackled, a garbled static sound, as it drew itself in and took proper form, stepping forward, its single eye gazing at both Claudia and Kakeru. "Come. Face evolution." |

The Swords came alive around Claudia's waist, spinning and twirling about her body. She ran a quick scan. "It's not like any kind of Parassita we've seen before." She sent the diagnostic data to Artie, hoping he could make heads or tails of it.

Artie analyzed the data quickly, before responding frantically. "That thing's on a whole new level! Comparing a Stage 2 to this thing is like comparing a kitten to a liger! I'm not even sure you two could survive taking it head-on right now."
Kakeru growled, swearing under his breath. "I told you this was a bad idea, Claudia. I just knew trusting the man who made these things was a bad plan, but no, now we have to deal with a damn super-bug."

Kakeru sighed, switching off his speaker and sending a direct comm only to Claudia. "Claud, get back, and stay high. This is about to get messy." Before she could respond, he shut off the comm, and his armor started to glow, a card hologram appearing and dispelling his armor, leaving him in the body suit, as the next set appeared behind him, bloody red. "Spada...Feroce...VERTO!" He spoke lowly, then roared out his transformation call, the armor attaching in an instant and a fierce growl coming from Kakeru.

Claudia began scrolling through her own forms, to see if she could offer support. "Why not..." She muttered, before transforming into Abeille with a call of "Armure!" She took aim with the Stinger Pistol, waiting.

Without warning, Kakeru roared out and dashed forward in a split second, lashing out with a fierce kick at the Parassita. However, the Parassita easily blocked the kick, laughing its wicked, mechanical laugh, before slashing at Kakeru with its weapon, which was in turn blocked by the Slashot's blade.

Claudia took aim and squeezed off a couple shots at the Parassita's sword hand, moving to make herself a harder target.

The Parassita easily deflected the shots, paying Claudia no mind as it forced Kakeru back. Off balance, Kakeru lowered his foot and pushed, before swiping with the Fierce Claw, slashing repeatedly and viciously.
