"What are you going to do to me if I do?!" she demanded.

"Only what you have earned." Frei went into his grab-bag, pulling out a two pairs of leather cuffs.

"Really?" she asked incredulously. "I'm a thief! You think those can hold me?" she questioned, stalling for time. She needed to figure out some way to escape this lunatic. Even if she surrendered there was no guarantee he wouldn't hold her. No, she was better off trying to figure out some way out of this mess.
Apparently this was what happened when she tried to get a life outside of treasure hunting. Wasn't life peachy?

"You can try. I have more where this came from." Frei said. "A lot more. Now dismiss your armor."

"I have no guarantee you won't try and hold me," she pointed out. "Why should I believe you? And you haven't even adequately explained what you'll do if I surrender!"

"Who said I wouldn't hold you?" Frei said. "If you surrender, you'll save yourself from being beaten to within an inch of your life."

Oh lovely. So he did plan on holding her. Not good. He was definitely stronger and faster. Faster than her! And she was quick but he was...inhuman.
She tried to calm her nerves and think of her options. He was faster than her and her weapons were at her feet. But she'd be almost completely helpless without her armor. She'd be nuts to listen.
He wasn't holding her at the moment. Maybe if she triggered the alarm on the pressure plate she'd be able to escape in the distraction. Without a word she dashed towards the elephant.

A leg came up, Frei aiming a pair of quick kicks to her face and chest, in the hopes of knocking her down.

Charlotte was normally really good at dodging but this guy's speed was ridiculous. She managed to avoid being knocked down but most of the kicks hit home. She tried to ignore the pain and move around him to reach the elephant. If she could just knock it off somehow the alarm would start screaming.
Her scope shot was a grappling hook! And it was just a little further away! If she could just reach it she'd be able to knock off the elephant for sure!

"I can see what you're trying to do. I already deactivated it. The alarm won't help you." Frei said, advancing on her. "Give. In."

Shit! Now what?! She didn't want to be held by this creep! But she didn't honestly think she could take him. And what if he didn't just keep her? What if he killed her?!
She still had her phone but there was no way she'd have time to get a call through. But still...If one of her teammates realized she was trying to reach them they'd at least worry about her sooner and try to find her. She supposed it was her best bet at the moment.
She grabbed her phone and began punching in Hunter Silver's number. Please let her have time to get through. She knew she was asking for a miracle. This guy was a speed demon.

"Yoink." The phone was suddenly in Frei's hand, and he observed it a moment. "Nice try." He hit a button, dismissing her armor, before tossing the phone over his shoulder into the grab bag.

And now she was thoroughly screwed. She did the only thing she could think of. She started screaming, hoping that there was someone in the building or someone nearby who could hear her and help.

A quick kick to the throat stopped that. Frei was angry now. He went back into the bag, pulling out a ball gag.

OH she was so dead! As he fixed his attention on the bag she tried to run for it. She really needed to get out of here!
