Roman reached down for the corpse. He wanted the stone, he wanted the powers he felt.

Unfortunately for Wiseman, his hand only landed on the the area between the breasts of the female corpse. The magic was powerful and radiating out from her body, but it seemed to have solidified within the corpse's body.
Then the basement's roof collapsed when the White Wizard activated a small explosion on the floor above. The mage fell down the new hole, falling on his side with several magic rings coming down along with him, some of the small objects raining down near Wiseman's feet.

Roman turned to see Fueki. He shook his head and conjured a chain, sending it for the corpse. Maybe he could drain it, as he would drain any other warrior. Fueki was of no concern to him. He was probably too weak to do anything.

The chains wrapped around the female corpse and magic slowly flowed into Wiseman's veins. The White Wizard sluggishly reacted and tried casting another spell while still on the floor.
CHAIN, NOW
However, only one strand of chains sprang out from a magic portal. Deciding to make do, he had the chain wrap around Wiseman in hopes of trying to get his attention.

"I have no time for you," he told Fueki, not even bothering with the chain. He wanted this power more than anything, and it was flowing into him. He took one more glance at Fueki, and then back to the corpse.

The White Wizard could only helplessly watch as his own chains faded from existence and the Wiseman draining the very life out of his daughter's corpse.
"No..." the White Wizard pleaded for the first time in his life, trying to fight back tears and doing his best not to black out. "Not her...don't take my hope...She doesn't deserve this...!"

"She's already dead," Roman told Fueki, "She has nothing left."

"I could bring her back...I was bringing her back! You can't...do this!"

"I am a god," he told Fueki, "I can do what I please!"

"You're...not god..." the White Wizard spat. "You're just...a mistake...an anomaly created from despair, the Sabbath! You...and your kind have no place...on Earth!"

"You think a Sabbath bore me?" he questioned, shaking his head, "You're wrong about that."

The White Wizard glared daggers at him, though behind the mask, tears were falling off of Fueki's face. "You're scum...a vile wretched scum...a filthy rat!"
Suddenly, Wiseman's chains were repelled and the the piece of the Philosopher's Stone that was within the corpse's body stopped glowing. It still radiated energy, but it was deeply contained in the body.

"What is this?" he hissed in annoyance. He threw his hand forward, sending more chains. There was more power yet to be drained.

The corpse's Wizardriver activated in pink light and once again the chains failed to reach its target, merely bouncing back and plopping on the floor.

Roman turned to Fueki and launched his chains for the White Wizard instead, "What is the meaning of this?" he demanded.
