"Actually, I have a bed to spare. My old roommate moved out a month or two ago." Aiko said. She neglected to mention she'd forced him out after discovering he was smuggling for the Lock Dealers around town.

Sae nodded and followed Aiko, slinging her bag over her shoulder.

Within a few minutes, they were at Aiko's apartment. Aiko opened the door, letting Sae in. "This is my humble abode. The room in question would be just over there." She indicated a door to the left.

The room had all the fixings, but there was a training dummy and a rack of practice weapons to one side. "Oh, I forgot I was keeping my training things in there." Aiko muttered. "I'll get those out."

"Okay!" She then began to unpack what little was in her bag -- some underwear and extra shorts, a role of bandages for the sarashi, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste... the essentials.
