They stopped dancing. "Well, the stage was empty, so we took it." The leader said, hopping off the stage and approaching Sae. "What's it to you?"

"Oh? Is it yours?" He said in a mocking tone. His team members laughed behind him, and he pulled out a Sunflower Lockseed. "Wanna battle for it?"

Sae held out Pine, grinning. "Last chance to just walk away."

His eyes widened, and he turned to his team. "Kenji!" He yelled, holding out a hand. One of his team members tossed him two more Lockseeds, both Pinecone. "Two Class B's and a Class C- against a Class A. I think we stand a chance."

"Maybe... who knows?" She then opened up the Lockseed.

He opened all three of his locks, as the battle ring formed. Two slightly larger monsters with blue accents popped out of zipper portals behind him, along with one smaller monster with yellow accents. "If you lose, we keep the stage and you never come back."

"And sacrifice my goals? Not a chance!" she said as her Invess appeared, a much larger one than the others.

He was slightly taken aback, but regained his determined stance as his three Invess all charged hers, attacking all at once.

Sae's Invess didn't hesitate for a moment, fending off the two Class-B Invess while it went to take out the third, smaller one.

The Class C- died almost instantly, while the two Class B's tried to jump on the Invess's back.

The Class-A threw one off its back, trying to get to the other one...

The one still on it's back started wailing away at the larger Invess, while the other was thrown to the floor. It tried to get up.

Unfortunately, the Invess got smart, and instead turned around and deliberately fell backwards on top of both Class-Bs.
