The monster rolled out of the way, charging at Luci. She slammed it in the face with the Railer, and it stumbled back, before attempting a similar maneuver on Nathan.

Nathan lifted his Spinner to take the brunt of the attack, and also give his next attack a lot more of a punch, once he had room.

It bounced off, and Luci whipped the Tie out again, grabbing it around the waist and yanking it back, slamming it into a nearby skyscraper. It clawed at the rope, freeing itself and taking off into the skies.
"Shit..." Luci muttered. If it kept this up, she was down for the count.

Nathan shot up after it, keeping his flames in his shield for now.

"Okay, at least he can fly..." Luci said, before giving chase, to keep track of the battle.
The monster flew a loop to get behind its pursuer, throwing some razor-sharp feathers at him.

Nathan took hits and started to fall, but whipped around and let loose his own feathers.

The monster tried to dodge, but got hit in one wing, beginning to fall. It began angling itself towards Nathan, trying to latch onto him and drag him down.

He let loose the flames from his Spinner as it got close.

It screeched as the fire burned it, giving up the pursuit.
Luci had managed to keep up, but the rope tangled her ankles. "Sunuva- THAT WAS FAST!" She yelled, annoyed, as the rope began rather thoroughly binding her legs.

He shot after the bird, intending on kicking it and riding it down. He lashed a leg out for its chest.

It tried to claw his leg, but failed in doing any actual damage, having been hurt too badly.
"At least- oh, okay, guess not." Luci muttered as she tried to crawl somewhere, but the rope snared her arms, intent on making her into the archetype her suit embodied.

He rode the monster into the ground, putting all of his force into it for impact.

The bird screeched one final time as it slammed into the ground, disappearing in a flash of light. The city began to flicker around them.
Luci's armor vanished, completing the act. "Oh, no, let's be loyal." Luci muttered to herself, struggling for a moment. "It's a superhero movie after all." She saw the red bird guy down the street, but took no notice of him, continuing to strain.
