John Jones was robotic in nature. No-one knew that, of course. These humans had laws of robotics based on the fiction of a great human called Asimov. The first law stated that no harm was to come to a human being by the hand of a robot. Yet here John was, right in the middle of a shoot-out. A drug bust had somewhat gone wrong and now four patrolmen had been shot, including John himself. He stumbled out into the road, obviously injured. He wasn't bleeding, however. Instead, wires protruded from his wounds.

Doctor Endo hummed along to the music playing on the radio. His driver, let's call him Carl, was less than amused. He was some stooge the Smart Brain North American branch had lent him and Endo cared little for the man.
He talked little and didn't appreciate it when Endo took a blood sample from him on their first meeting - without his consent. He was an Orphnoch of course. Smart Brain wouldn't trust another human employee in his care, not after last time.
They be seeking out the complete overthrow of the human race, but they still treat their employees fairly well.
"Hmm?" Endo spotted a man stumbling onto the road at the same time Carl had the car come to a screeching halt.

John didn't see the car as he stumbled out onto the road. By the time he noticed the headlights, he had collided with the car and was sent flying backwards...right into another car. Not before he left a sizable dent in the cars front, however.

Doctor Endo felt the car shake as the man smacked into them and didn't feel like they hit some fragile human, but another car.
This interested Endo. If this man didn't survive the ordeal, or even if he had, Endo had to open him up and see what makes him tick.
The man, let's call him Steve, didn't ask Endo if he was alright. He probably didn't care if he lived or died.
The driver door to the other car opened up and a frantic squirrel woman, let's call her Beth, got out. She rushed over to the man on her hood and asked if he was alright.
Endo and Steve sat there and observed after Steve had successfully deflated the airbag.

While John was a little more durable than any human, it still felt like he'd been hit with a sledgehammer. Tiny lights went on and off inside his head. He couldn't see who surrounded him. He just lay there like a lemon.

The woman, let's call her Sarah, shook the man's shoulders.
"Wake up!" she pleaded, "Don't die on me!"
Of course, Endo knew she did care for the man's wellbeing at all only for hers if it was discovered she had killed a man with her car.

John, being a badass robot, didn't have a pulse...or a breathing system. It was highly likely he would appear dead to any human. Plus, he was a heavy sucker. It wasn't possible for one woman, let's call her Jane, to lift him up.

The woman, looks like a Lisa, started to cry.
"He's dead! He's not breathing! He's dead! I killed him!"
"Yes, yes, we heard you the first time," smirked Endo as he stepped out of the car, brushed himself off, and strolled over to the body.
His assistant, Bill, followed close by.
Endo looked for a pulse, but there was none.
"Cold as the oxygen-less void of space," he remarked. Endo motioned for Bill to pick him up, and being a super strong Orphnoch, was able to do it.
"He's heavy," was the first thing Endo heard out of Bill's mouth.

As the woman, who seemed more like a Martha, cried over his seemingly dead body, John felt himself being picked up. He couldn't see who was doing it, and only knew that they were strong. How else were they able to pick him up.

Endo inspected their car, it was in pretty poor shape, but looked like it could still get them back to the lab the American Branch had proved him.
They left the woman, looks like a Stephanie, and loaded the man into the backseat. Charlie strapped him in while Endo got into the passenger seat. He prepared some chloroform just in case his new test subject got rowdy on the way there.

As they drove away from the woman, who really seemed like a Barbara, John stirred in his restrained seat. He was waking up.

"Our guest seems to be stirring," Endo smirked, his countermeasure ready and waiting.

John was indeed stirring. In fact, he was awake. Well, waking up. He opened his eyes halfway. All he could see were blurs.

Endo waved, "Welcome to the world of the living."

John blinked himself awake. "Would you like to explain why you've kidnapped a police detective?"
