Thorne ducked and pointed his sword for Taylor, spiking energy out for one of her wrists, trying to cut it free.

Taylor tried to move to one side to increase it's chances of not hurting her, but she wound up simply making it miss. "Now now." Noland said, bringing his mace down on Thorne's sword. "Let's not do rash things like that."

He swung his sword back for Noland, trying to focus on both repelling him and getting to Taylor.

"Here." Romulus's voice echoed in Taylor's head, before the plants practically exploded in growth, zooming out and snatching the weapons from the belligerent's hands. "Well, that's a first." Noland muttered, swiping for his mace.

Noland dodged, kneeing to cheap-shot Thorne. Taylor rolled her eyes. She'd tried, but they were still fighting. She was exhausted after the massive effort to get the plant to take their weapons.

Thorne went down, but picked himself up as fast as he could and tried to tackle the other man out the door.

Noland grabbed the door frame, holding on. He focused, and Thorne's left ankle caught on fire. He couldn't do much without the fiddle. Taylor began looking around for a way to free herself.

Noland focused and it lit on fire too. "It would seem we have opposing elements." Noland commented, delivering a solid punch for the center of Thorne's chest. Taylor began maneuvering the chair she was bound to over to the desk of jewelry, hoping to find a cutting took of some sort.

Noland advanced, punching once more in the same spot. Taylor kept moving. This was slow going.

He tried to catch the punch, but half-failed. He fell back, but used the punch as a way to help give him some leverage as he went down, trying to pull the other man down as well.
