Sayuki looked at it and was slightly impressed, it looked different from the usual form that Shinkengers used, but it was a good change of pace, "I really can't see why they would call you a Gedou, in all honesty it's nice change of pace from the usual Shinkenger form, other than the black coat but hey...whoever said people who wear black coats are bad guys right?" she said with a smile. "In that case I look forward to the day that you meet us...I'm sure it'll be interesting," she said with a wink.

"I'm sure it will be." Kari's form shimmers and then shatters as she returns to human form. "One thing. Your name?"

"Sayuki Oda," Sayuki replied, "and before you ask yes I am related to Nobunaga Oda, I'm her direct descendent actually and yes she was a female not a male like the history books say."

"Ah, sou?" Kari looks at her. "You'll make that name look good." Her samurai persona relaxes a bit and a small smile crosses her face.

A small smile came on Sayuki's face when she saw Kari's smile, "Really? I guess I do, but then again she is the reason that I'm stuck being a samurai instead of being a high school girl...but hey...I guess that's how the cards been played huh? I suppose you were also forced to become a samurai because of your family name right?" she remarked moving a bit closer to Kari.

"I wasn't forced. I wanted to be. I spent all that time learning the sealing symbol. But, I wasn't the family favorite. I was the runt of the litter. The lowest priority."

Sayuki heard Kari and felt a pang of sadness for her, to spend all that time devoting herself to the family, training relentlessly, only to then be discarded simply of an accident or whatever happened...it was almost like the script of a tragic story, "I'm sorry," Sayuki said, "I can't imagine the pain when that happened to you..." taking a step forward towards her unconsciously.

"It's better that you don't.." Kari gave, stepping away. "It's better that no one else has to go through that."

Sayuki stepped towards her, "It's okay..." she said, "I...I think I can kind of understand that pain. The pain of being discarded," as she didn't know why she was telling her this but it felt...right to tell her so. "Even though I was born to the Oda clan I always thought that I could get anything I wanted, but that wasn't true since I was told to go to school and do samurai training; I rarely made any friends because people would treat me like I was special...I hated that, I really hated that, so in a way I hate being an Oda. I think my family understands that and...they've practically given up on me...they don't say it, but I can tell...it's painful, not having your family supporting you...it's really painful isn't it?"

Her voice cracks just a tiny little bit, and she nods to Sayuki. Someone like her...it made her sad. But she had no words to say. No emotions to call on to feel....

Sayuki strides towards Kari and embraced her, "It's okay," she said trying to calm the tears in her eyes, "it's okay to cry about it if you want...it's not weak to cry about it," she whispered to the woman.

She was too proud to cry, though. It was too embedded in her not to do that..and then the hug came. She didn't know how to react to it. The other girl..was crying. It wasn't weak to cry? Not knowing what to do.. she reaches her hand up to Sayuki's shoulder to pat her on it awkwardly, attempting to provide some reassurance, at least. Though the emotions were there to cry...she simply didn't react, other than the one action of patting the shoulder..

It was strange...she hadn't cried in years, even when she was told that she was going to be a Shinkenger and knew that her family just wanted her out of the house she didn't cry, she didn't know why she cried now...maybe because she had found someone who was like her. Abandoned by her family, unfairly judged and cast out, someone who shared her pain even if it was greater than hers. She felt Kari's reassuring touch and hugged her even tighter as a small smile came on her face, "Thank you..." she whispered to her, "that means a lot to me."

And then came the details of the hug. Sayuki..smelled nice. And even for one so petite, she was surprisingly strong. Kind of like herself. Kari held her head stoically there as she was thanked, and then felt herself be squished even tighter. Needless to say she'd be reflecting on this hug for a while. "Aa." She gives quietly. "It was no problem."
Before she can continue, her eyes widen a bit. "Sayuki...It's getting hard to breathe." Kari adds in a deadpan quiet, not upset, just stating a fact.

"Oh sorry," Sayuki said blushing as she did so and releasing the hug, "didn't mean to get emotional..." she said wiping the tears away thinking about the hug and seeing how good Kari smelt, a hint of lavender and lemon, as she blushed even more at that thought.
