"I don't mind, when I saw you dance I was completely mesmerised by you," Sayuki said softly, "I thought it was really beautiful, I admire you cause of that and...and I thought you were pretty cool too dancing like that; I really admire you."

That was something she had to think on. "Well..I'm glad you liked my dancing. It's been a way of showing my true self for a long time."

Sayuki hugged her tighter, "It must've been hard isn't it? Not being able to show your true self in your world, with your family, I know that I would have hated that kind of lifestyle...no more to say that I know that I was never really able to show my true self to anyone. Never been free or be able to do what I want...I wish that I can be like you Kari, free as a bird," she whispered.

"Why do I trust you? I...I don't really know myself," Sayuki said, "I just feel that I can trust you, I can feel it in my heart...if my trust is misplaced well...I suppose I'm a bigger fool than my family thought I was," she said bitterly.

Sayuki gazed into Kari's eyes and saw how beautiful it was, how it reflected her own face back at her, and she gave a small smile at the samurai as she held Kari's hand softly and intimately as she leaned closer to her, "Thank you Shiba-san...that means a lot to me, to have someone compliment me like that...it's the first that anyone has done so...ever."
