Takaiwa's first sluggish action was to feel the burning sensation on his waist that happened to be his destroyed Sengoku Driver. The second he felt the scorched marks, his conscious quickly recovered and he began to panic. "My...My Driver!"

Takaiwa looked at the broken driver and removed it from his waist, clutching it with his hand. The Rider Indicator blanked out and slid off the device, revealing the mechanics inside the driver as well as a strangely shaped slot. He eyed Kureshima's Genesis Driver, specifically at the belt's lockseed and Driver Bay...

Having sharp eyes, Paul happened to notice Takaiwa's eyeing of parts.
"Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?" he knelt down by his downed subordinate.

He took a closer look at his ruined Driver; the slot seemed too intricately shaped to have been a wild coincidence. "Unless you were planning this from the very beginning."

"The Genesis Driver uses upgraded hardware from the Sengoku." Paul said plainly. "The technologies are bound to be compatible in some shape or form."
