Salem took a sniff. "That is indeed a tinge of magic in the clothing, thought I don't quite think it's attributable to Artifacts."

Irui giggled. "Well, yes and no. I had my dear brother-in-law loan me one of those grimoires to sew in some runes of protection, and there are a few Artifacts aside from the ones you usually carry. The buttons of the waistcoat are the Dragon Stones. They absorb magic of the four elements that's used against you. Not much good against Parassita, but it's better than nothing."

"The Dragon Stones?" Salem asked, hopping off and floating over to Kaki, examining his jacket buttons. "Amazing. I remember making these." He continued floating around, eyes glowing silver as he examined Irui's rune work.
"I like it." Claudia said.

Salem quickly scooted out of the way, continuing to examine. "Fantastic work, Irui-sama." Salem commented. "Incredible calligraphy." He began focusing in one on the back of his shoulder.

Irui laughed. "Well, calligraphy is one of the basic skills for a Japanese girl to learn." Kakeru laughed in response. "Well, I guess I can't complain. Comfortable, stylish, and functional. A trifecta if I've ever worn one." Irui added "I also have a nice selection of hats for you. Fur felt with a Zannium lining."

Kakeru walked over to the selection of hats, picking up the short top hat and plopping it on his head. "Top of th' mahrnin' to ya." Meanwhile, Irui ushered Claudia off to the fitting room.

"I'm going to presume I need to strip." Claudia said, beginning to pull off her clothing and throw it at Kakeru.

Claudia balled up her shirt, the last piece to come off, and wound back, throwing it for Kaki's head like a baseball pitch. "Let's do this, Irui."

Kakeru twitched a finger, and Doppelganger's hand popped out of the shadows of Kakeru's hair, grabbing the shirt. "Nice catch, partner."

"Cheater." Claudia said. She nodded, and Salem's eyes twinkled, pulling the shirt from Doppelgangers hand and shoving it into Kaki's face.
