Moments later, Alpha's wheels struck land, rearing up in a wheelie before activating the nitro to go along with the boost and whizzing up next to Claudia and Beta. Shouting through his comm, Kakeru was agitated. "When we get back, I'm having Ken reprogram this fucking thing!"

"Good luck. Alpha might try to kill him. Or you." Beta said. "He'll be fine. What could Alpha possibly do?" Claudia asked. She knew she was tempting fate, but she wanted to see what Alpha was capable of in full.

Alpha sneered as mush as he could without a face, boosting his speed and nearly causing Kakeru to fall off. "OI YA BASTARD! CUT IT OUT AND FOLLOW ORDERS!"

"I really feel a bit sorry for him." Claudia said, giving chase on Beta. "Alpha's a tough partner. It's really baffling to me as to why he was programmed that way." Beta replied.

Artie chimed in on Claudia's comm, on a private frequency. "Ken programmed them to match the extremes of their Agent. Kakeru's is wild and temperamental, yours is respectful and obedient, etcetera. He figured it'd be the best way to get synergy between them. I personally never understood the idea."

"Well, Alpha is about to bucking-bronco Kaki into a wall, so is there like a remote shutdown switch or something?"

"He's gonna have to tough it out. Artie out." With a click, the comm call ended. Meanwhile, Kakeru was busy trying to reign in Alpha, using his experience with horses back in Italy to try and rodeo him down.

"Should we help?" Claudia asked. "No. This is far too entertaining." Beta replied. "I concur. I need to buy Ken dinner sometime for programming such a fantastic bike." "Why thank you, ma'am."

After about five minutes of rodeo, Kakeru finally managed to get Alpha under control, wheeling him over next to Claudia. "Asinine AI aside, this bike is pretty damn good."

"Yeah, they're pretty awesome. Now, wasn't there something we were supposed to kill?" Claudia asked, having laid down on Beta.

Just as Claudia spoke, one of the shops in the town exploded, three vaguely humanoid mechanical forms stepping out. One of them scoffed, speaking in a gruff monotone. "Human structures are so flimsy. So easy to destroy."

"I love how our foes have such fantastic senses of dramatic timing." Claudia said, flipping around so she was seated properly on Beta again. "Shall we, Kaki dear?"

Rounding the rear of the three, a fourth figure emerged, the same Parassita from their failed plan with the Alchemist. Kakeru growled, jumping off of Alpha and switching to Spada Fiamma Nero, charging at the Parassita.

Claudia saw him too, and quickly braced and leapt into the air, changing into Danseur d'Epee and flying towards him, blades spinning.

The black Parassita laughed, in a mechanical monotone, as it blocked Kakeru's blade with its own. Claudia, however, didn't get that far, the large blue Macchina swiping with its massive clawed hand directly in her path. (( The four Parassita are; Black Dragon, Blue Behemoth, Beige Dullahan, and Red Hunter))
