Retsu stopped and looked around. The alien he had been in pursuit of was suddenly gone, but how? He holstered his sidearm for good measure, just so as not to scare people, and kept looking around. There were people around, but nobody was panicked...
Did it assume a human guise? That made things harder... |

Sofie was glad the GUP provided transportation, but for the love of the goal, could they be a little bit quicker? It took forever to get around in a car. At least it had sirens and flashing lights. She assumed that made her seem official. Those lights just happened to be on and flashing as the car she had been so generously loaned screeched to a halt on the side of the road...and knocked over a garbage can.

Retsu hurried to the vehicle with the flashing lights, hoping that it might be of use to him. Anyone who could help would be appreciated, with all this ground to cover.
