Vera began working on Kayla's hair. There wasn't much to fix, so she finished quickly and moved to her makeup.

After a few moments, she spoke again, "I...I'm hungry. Can we please eat?"

"Oh, yes." Vera said, beckoning and walking out. She walked to the table where they'd eaten the night before, with food already set. The hooded outfit was in the same position as before.

She sat down and looked at the food. She wanted to eat, but couldn't lift her arm. It was trembling too much. When she did get it up, she couldn't hold her fork, and set it down.
