Cécile laughed. It was her brother who had been considered the smart one. She had been street smart; but, she was more playful than clever.
"I guess I have my moments," she said jovially. "Just make sure the mages don't have a hidden agenda. They might try to play with your head a bit."

Cécile giggled. "The trick is to not censor yourself! Let your words fly free! Even if you upset someone you can be pleased that you had the courage to say what you felt!" She took another swig of her drink. "Yeah, you can make a lot of enemies that way but there's a kind of freedom in not tailoring your words to suit others."
"Don't think about anything too deeply. If you feel an urge to say something don't restrain yourself! Embrace the urge and scream it!"

Cécile simply grinned. "Hey if you're buying I'm not going to complain, sister!" she said jovially. No, she really liked saving cash. She wasn't quite sure what she was saving it for; but, it was always good to have the extra money.
She lifted up what remained of her last glass. "To you, Zero! You and getting back your lost memories!" She gulped the rest down and smiled. "And I like you too, by the way!"

Zero smiled and raised her own glass, downing the drink.
A pair of identical men in leather jackets walked into the bar. Instead of sitting down they just stood and stared at the two ladies at the bar. The stood, stone faced, ignoring everything around them.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Cécile called out to the two new men. "Do we look like some sort of animal attraction to you?!" she demanded, standing up and walking over so she could stare them directly in the face.
"How does it feel to be stared at like some sort of freak show?! This is a bar, okay?! People come here to relax and unwind! Now either sit down and buy a drink or leave! You're making me uncomfortable!"
She didn't mention Zero because she wasn't sure if Zero wanted to be personally involved. However, she bet Zero didn't much care for the attention either.
