The Morning After [Zero]

Zero closed the bathroom door and put her clothing on. Her face was beet red as she did so, trying not to think about what might have happened. She had a one night stand, that was all. As for how she got into an occupied motel room... Again, she pushed the thought out of her head.

Before Zero opened the door, she stopped and thought. Quickly she patted herself down to make sure she had everything. Her GokaiLost key and her Lost Cellular were thankfully in her pockets, as we're her hotel key and wallet. Good!

She was about to leave when she realized: her briefcase. The Key briefcase! She threw the shower curtain aside, nearing ripping the shower rod from the wall in the process. After taking a breath, she remembered. It was on a chair in the main area of the room.

With a sigh of relief, she stepped out of the tiny bathroom. When she did she saw Hannah standing there, looking at her phone.

"Neat phone" Zero said, instinctively standing next to it. She fought the urge to hug the item, not wanting to make things weirder. Instead she placed a firm hand on the handle.

"Something like that" Zero said, biting her tongue. No, it's full of magical keys that give me superpowers. It was probably better that she not drop the amnesiac pirate bomb just yet.

"You wanna get some coffee? Maybe try to sober up?"

Zero picked up her briefcase, treating it like a purse. She knew it looked weird, but she felt wrong without it. Besides, it was tied to her memories somehow, so why not.

She walked outside, the sun killing her eyes as she did so. Judging by how bright it was out, she guessed it was somewhere around noon.

Thankfully, Zero did know this part of town. "There's a Starbucks down the block" she said. Zero had stayed in this hotel before she realized she had money. She had been sleeping in a much fancier hotel the night before.

Zero lead the way to a nearby Starbucks, opening the door for her.
