Yuki neither knew how to drive or owned a car, so they were forced to walk there and back.
Luckily, the nearest grocery store wasn't that far off.
She walked at quite the fast pace, without stopping to consider if Mayu could keep up.

Mayu tried to keep up, she really did. However, due to her condition, she couldn't run far without tiring out.
