She grinned. "Less if I think I can help it," she agreed. She rummaged in her backpack, extracted her notebook, and tore out a page. She wrote her full name and address on it and handed it to Sierra-chan. "I'll save you the trouble," she said warmly. "If you're in the neighborhood come visit!"

She nodded, "I'll see what I can do," she said, "And...please don't tell people that I gave you money. I don't want people to be coming and begging when they really don't need it. I mean, not that you begged, but that's not what I mean...well, I think you know what I'm trying to say," she said.

Erika rolled her eyes. "Trust me. I'm not going to tell anyone." She felt horrible enough as it was, accepting money like this. She was going to keep it as quiet as possible. She wouldn't even tell Jun-kun or her father. Especially not her father. Who knew what he would say when drunk and to who.
She smiled again. "And like I said you don't have to worry about being politically acceptable with me. I'm a tough girl to offend," she assured her. "We both know I didn't beg."

"I pretty much had to force you to take money," she agreed.

She giggled. "I'm really relieved about that now! I'd hate for you to think I approached you, knowing who you were, hoping for money."
"I wouldn't do that!" she swore.

"I know you wouldn't," she said, "I know people who would, and I know what they're like. You're far from them."

Erika grinned. "You're my Solo Sister," she said simply. The fact that Sierra-chan had a lot of money didn't change anything. Erika wasn't the sort to view people differently based on their economic status. She wasn't envious or anything either. She imagined people with a lot of money had their own problems, problems just as frustratingly serious as Erika's. It must be difficult to walk about freely and know who your real friends were. You'd always wonder if someone wasn't just following you around for cash. That must be tough.

That brought a smile to Sierra's face, "Yeah, I am," she said. She wasn't overly trustworthy, but at the same time she was open to trust to those who showed they were trustworthy. Erika had shown that she was, so she'd help her, but she wouldn't do this for just anyone she'd met.

Erika beamed and jumped up and down excitedly. "You said it! You said it!" She hugged Sierra-chan. "That's the first time you've referred to Solo Sister with enthusiasm! See?! See?!" she said eagerly. "The name's catching!"

She just shrugged. She didn't feel much about the name either way. It was fine.

Erika just laughed. "One day you'll be struck by its brilliance," she teased. "And don't count me out of cooking for you! I bet I can compete with anyone you hire! My motivation is top notch!" she assured her.

"Well, we'll see, and I have a lot of hope for your skill," she said.

"I dare you to find someone better," she said boldly. She chuckled. "And if you do I'll just have to work that much harder to best them."

She nodded, "That's the way to do it."

"What about you Solo Sister? What's your passion?" Even if she didn't know what she wanted for the future everyone had a hobby.
