Claudia was sitting in an abandoned building, munching on her lunch. She's tracked an Artifact to the building across the street, which she was watching as she ate. She had called Kakeru already, and was simply waiting for him to arrive.

About an hour after Claudia's call, Kakeru arrived on the scene, riding Lady Luck, headphones on under his helmet. "So, this is the place." He muttered to himself as he dismounted, heading towards Claudia.

"Ah, welcome, welcome. Our John is in the building across the street. I say we go in guns blazing and just goop the thing before it acts out. We don't know what it's capable of." Claudia said.
Something clinked behind her.

"Might not be the best plan. If we don't know what it does, we could set it off by charging in." He replied, giving her a snide look.

Another few things clinked behind her.

Kakeru began to think, but heard the clinks and got annoyed. "Okay, what the bloody hell is that?"

Claudia turned, and her eyes widened. She reached behind the seat she was in, and turned back around with a black cat in her arms. "Oh my god, he's adorable." Claudia said, setting the cat in her lap and beginning to scratch behind it's ear.

Kakeru sighed. "Oh great. A cat." He sighed again, not being overly fond of cats.

The cat seemed to notice Kakeru, and hissed at him. "Well, it seems he doesn't like you either, Kaki." Claudia said, continuing to scratch it.

"Lo stupidi gato." He sneered, before sighing and returning to the task at hand. "Anyhow, I'd wager it best to use a sniper to peer inside and assess the situation before acting."

"My sniper form might be a bit overkill." Claudia said. "Being designed to hit from over a mile away and everything at a the least minimum."
The cat simply sat in Claudia'a lap, purring away.

Kakeru chuckled. "Nah, I just meant the Digistruct rifle." He said, pulling out his Dialer and shuffled through the options, before selecting one and Digistructing in a sniper rifle. "I'll use this." He walked over to the window, pointing the rifle out to look into the other building. |

"I always forget about the Digistructs..." Claudia muttered, standing up to follow him. The cat squirmed out of her arms and climbed up to her shoulders, establishing around her neck like a furry scarf.

Claudia bent down next to him to see. The cat had fallen asleep, purring softly.
