He wears his necklines open and wears skinny ties that are loosely tied. He goes between dress pants and tactical pants, but pretty much always wears black boots, usually motorcycle styled boots. Otherwise, Sakurai wears a dark red or pink kimono/robe like a traditional samurai, wearing a sword at his hip; a katana, along with traditional samurai wear, sandals, etc.

Overview:
Sakurai is a man out of his time, yet he has been able to adapt quickly enough. He's a calm, composed man, cold most of the time. He finds no solace in cruelty of any sort, and doesn't tolerate it, especially against the old, women and the young and weak. He isn't against righteous justice, however.

He keeps a strong sense of honor and chivalry about himself. He will stop at nothing to put down those who are in his way, or who become his targets, keeping a fierce determination about himself at all times. He doesn't care about the Shiba clan in this day and age, he only cares about who he is, not about the time he's in or the condition of his clan. He does seek to make contact with any remains, however.

He's aware of his Gedou blood, and isn't against using it when he needs to do so. He's a samurai, of the Shiba blood, but he's willing to accept all of who he is, as long as it can help him cut down Gedou. He's willing to kill himself when the time comes, to purge the Gedou from the world in completion.

He's very intelligent, and quick to learn and adapt. He doesn't really like people, and criticizes them for not living up to expectations. He feels they dishonor their parents and families. He has a high sense of regard for parents and obedience, because of how his parents raised him.

He's a fast and skilled swordsman who shows a sense of restraint, he'll cut or not, depending on what he wants, even with his sharp edged blade. He likes to use his ShodoPhone as well, using flames in conjunction with his attacks, and using beauty. He has a high level of Mojikara control along with a high level of Mojikara as well. One of his combat preferences is a shower of fire petals he calls "Hanafubuki".

Sakurai was born sometime around the Meiji Restoration as heir to the Shiba clan. When he was a child he was trained in the art of swordsmanship, and how to use his Mojikara and control the powers he was meant to; the Shinkenger power along with the Origami. He learned of his duty to eliminate the Gedoushu, and then learned the truth about himself when he was ten years old.

It was his mother who was the Shiba clan member, not his father. His father was a man whom had fallen to Gedou, but they had already been wed. His mother still loved her husband, and they conceived Sakurai. His father vanished from his life after telling him the truth, telling him of his Gedou blood.

Sakurai learned to control his Gedou form, and used it to kill some Gedoushu, along with his ShinkenRed form. He was happy enough to have another weapon, but knew that someday he'd have to take his own life in order to complete the Shinkenger mission. He continued to fight until he was 24 years old, at which point a Gedoushu got the better of him, freezing him in time, unable to kill him due to his Gedou blood protecting him from its other attacks.

He remained trapped in time for hundreds of years, until something caused him to awaken in 2013. He was out of his time and place, but learned to adapt. He became a new man for this new era, but kept firm in his beliefs. He continued to fight as much as possible, but also planned on making contact with the Shiba clan, which he has yet to do so.

He lives in this new, changing era, intending on eliminating all Gedoushu, including himself.
