Overview: Alladin is a guardian. He defends those who cannot defend themselves, no matter the cost to himself. He’s lost too many people dear to him that he should have been able to defend, and it tears at his heart every day. He cares for his friends and allies, and would gladly give his life for just about anyone, even those who oppose him, as he can’t stand to watch anyone else die.

Alladin was born into the Waynguard family, a high-ranking council family. As such, Alladin came to be familiar with the crown prince, Alastor, and they became good friends. Alladin was soon distracted by the arrival of his younger brother Grayton. Alladin took it as a personal project to raise Grayton right, but was distracted again when his father recruited him to write a simplified spell casting dialect, the one used by the Magirangers today. During this time, Arthur Brompton came to live with them, and this further distracted Alladin from what his brother was doing. Because of this, Alladin was unable to stop his brother from falling in with the wrong people.
Grayton became seduced and soon corrupted by the lure of dark magic. He studied legends, and discovered a being known as N-Ma, who he decided he wanted to revive. So he did. He transformed into a lich, becoming Sorcery Priest Meemy, and left for the world N-Ma was on. Alladin found out, and set about trying to find a way to stop his brother, Alastor fled the world. Arthur approached him soon after, saying he needed a way out. After careful study, Alladin discovered a spell to open a portal to a world called "Earth". Arthur went through, and Alladin followed him. The two were in about 18th century London, and the portal closed behind them.
Alladin decided to make the best of it, making a fortune after starting a bank, Waynguard Investments. By the time they were able to return, Alladin's parents had both been killed by Meemy. His father had left him the book containing the language they had worked on, and Alladin swore revenge, traveling back to Earth with Arthur, this time to the proper time period, and found Meemy to be at the head of a demonic empire, Infershia. Alladin created several devices, based on some cell-phones he'd found in the trash, to act as magical conductors and amplifiers, and distributed them to various people on Earth who he detected as having magical talent, thus creating the Magirangers. He’s spent the past few years training his own magic, creating the Archmage suit to boost his own power with Arthur’s help.
Soon after beginning this little project, Alladin discovered Meemy was trying to make a dark-magic human, and freed the girl being experimented upon. He named her Amy, and used his considerable wealth to set up a good life for her. He made her into one of his Magirangers as well.
