Overview: If it weren't for Mirai's bright personality, the future would seem dark for the Vanahe refugees. Even in the face of adversity, she remains honest, kind, gentle and dilligent, and maybe a bit overprotective about her sister. She likes to try out new things, but usually messes up, breaks something, and gets all flustered. She does have a serious side, and it shows when she fights.

Mirai grew up on the planet Vanaheim with her sister, Haruka. She lived on the artificial landmass in the northern hemisphere known as Jeldrax (translates from ancient Vanahe as "Great Port"). From a young age, she was taught to have faith in the Presenters, the gods of the Vanahe. She looked out for her sister a lot, growing extremely protective of her. She found friends in Kanata Hoshikawa and Eiji Seiun, who were about her age. Together, they set out to become Solar Marines, agreeing to form their own cel, once they qualified to become Marines.

Shortly, that time came, and Mirai, Kanata and Eiji formed their own cel in the Solar Marine Corps. They served a couple missions together, until a near disastrous event set a strange chain of events into motion.

Mirai woke up one day to find Vanahe under attack from an armada of Logi ships. She grabbed Haruka, who had enrolled as a Solar Marine not a few months prior, and joined up with her cel. They received orders, not to defend the planet, but to leave it behind. They were sent to a long range spaceship, and given a mysterious box by monks. The ship took off, hoping to rendevous with a nearby fleet. A stray blast threw the ship off course, unfortunately, where it entered a wormhole and arrived in Earth's solar system, crashing into the moon.
