Overview: Hikaru Sasaki isn't a guy with the most presence in the room, in fact he has so little presence that people often forget he is even there. He hates this about himself, but severely lacks the confidence to change himself. He's tackling life one step at a time and dreams of one day becoming a full fledged teacher. He tries not to get on his classes bad side, but they often pick on him and this bothers him. He doesn't feel his has their full respect like a teacher should. He's wondering if he should just pack his back and take over the family dojo from his grandfather, but that was until this whole Go-Buster thing started....

The son of the president of one of the world's most successfully financial company, Corday International, was visiting Japan when he fell in love with a beautiful Japanese woman. The two married in secret before eventually she became pregnant with Hikaru. The Corday matriarch, and Hikaru's great grandmother, learned of this and forced Hikaru's father to return home to France immediately, leaving Hikaru in Japan with his mother.

His father supported them financially, but Hikaru's mother did not want to raise him to be too dependent on his father's money so they lived in her father's home and only used the money in case of emergency. When Hikaru grew to a certain age, his grandfather decided to take him under his wing and train him in the art of Kendo in the hopes that he would one day take care of the family dojo. Hikaru had a different dream in mind. He wanted to become a teacher and help kids realize their own dreams. 

He studied long and hard, eventually graduating from high school and getting into the Student Teacher program at EMC. He was put in charge of his own class despite being so young. He just had one little problem - he was incredibly shy and greatly lacks confidence.
