Overview:
Emma is a good student, a good person, and she tries not to make any waves, really. She just tries to be. Primarily she doesn’t want to get into trouble, so she stays out of things that might become problematic, and just tries to go about a normal day as often as possible. She just wants to graduate and go and get a good job and have a good life.

She’s studious and enjoys reading. Things such as horror movies really freak her out, and give her nightmares. She hates them, but she still enjoys watching them or hearing them, etc. It gives her nightmares, but she enjoys it, she doesn’t know why.

She’s friendly, and tries to make friends with people on campus and wherever she can. It’s not like she goes out of her way to do it, but she tries. At the first sign of conflict between friends she attempts to become a mediator. She doesn’t like to argue with friends either, or anyone. If something starts, even if she started it, she’ll take a breath, stop, and just walk away.

She tries to actively become involved in whatever she can. Volunteer work, helping the needy, things like that. She feels like if she can’t help in normal ways, how can she help as a Ranger? She likes to help and donate all the time she can, but combining that with studying, she doesn’t have a lot of free time.

She enjoys having fun while she can, and hang out with friends. She enjoys spending evenings with them rather than days, and enjoys games and quiet nights with them, things like fires. She’s not really one for things like parties, and doesn’t go, even if her friends are there.

She’s not much of a cook, and prefers to eat what other people have made, or just buy things. She knows she’s bad, and can’t really take her own food. She enjoys eating with others, and what others have made, like friends, and often tries to eat with her friends so she doesn’t have to keep buying things. She has enough money because her parents give her money for school, but she hates to use it. She doesn’t have enough time for a job either, so…she’s dependent on them.

Ever since becoming White Swan, she’s been learning how to fight, but it’s slow going. She’s getting there, though.

Emma’s father is a popular author in England, so they had a decent flow of money coming in. Her mother works as a nurse. Emma grew up as a normal kid, since not a lot of people knew about her father’s books when she was in school.

When she was a teenager she read his books. She didn’t know what to make of them; books based on life, for adults. She was old enough to understand most of it, and didn’t want to have to follow in any of his footsteps, or his shadow. He was popular enough that people might know who she was, especially since one of his books was adapted recently into a rather popular movie.

She stayed in Europe after high school for college. She wanted to be her own person, so she didn’t go into the fields of her parents. She ended up going into college for law, deciding to become a lawyer. Her law career ended up being in environmental affairs because that caught her interest, so she started trying to become an environmental lawyer.

Through her volunteer work, she started working with a disabled woman. That woman gave her a box of items as a thank you before she moved away. When Emma looked into the box later, she found that it had a Crosschanger. She had become a Ranger when she first used it. She decided to take up learning how to fight so that she could make a difference.
