Mayu sat in her room, tinkering with the device in her hands. "Just about finished..." she muttered to herself. Throughout the floor, scattered Hidden Disks and phone-like objects could be seen; the phones seemed charred and broken, as if they were failed tests for whatever Mayu was trying to make.

Yuki, meanwhile, was sweeping the floors. On her way through the entire house, she stopped at Mayu's door.
She knocked, "Mayu? Are you okay in there? I haven't heard a peep out of you all day."

Mayu sighed, and put the device down. It's been a few days since she was kidnapped by that Ayakashi. The moment she returned home, she began working on finishing up her latest invention. While it wouldn't really help her condition, nor would it make Yuki worry any less, it would at the very least prevent her from getting hurt any more than she was the other day.

Yuki was finishing up on the front porch when an arrow wizzed by her head. As if by animalistic instinct, she caught the arrow in mid flight.
"A summons to battle?"
She unrolled the attached parchment and nodded.
"Another Ayakashi causing trouble again," she sighed, "But it is my duty as a Shinkenger and the 18th Head of the Shiba House to eradicate them."

"Mayu!" she called out, "I'm off! I shall be back soon. Nothing to worry about!"
And with that she said she took off with a run towards the uncertain chaos.

Yuki quickly arrived on the scene as a group of Nanashi, led a silver and red by a Ayakashi, were causing havoc. "Stop right!" she snapped. The monsters payed no attention to her. "Maybe I really should start bringing the Kuroko with me..." |

Yuki puffed out cheeks, "If you're going to be like that than fine!"
She drew her ShodoPhone and drew the kanji for “Fire” in the air to form her suit before removing the disk from her belt and placing it on the handle of the Shinkenmaru.
"ShinkenRed! Shiba Yuki! Going forth!"

Mayu hurried out of the house to where Yuki might be. Thankfully, she was able to have an idea where she was; she just needed to follow the trail of destruction.

Yuki rushed at her opponent only to get struck in the back by an unknown assailiant. "Surprise!" laughed the gun-wielding Ayakashi, "Didn't expect two of us did you?!" |

Not even a moment later was the gun-wielding Ayakashi sruck in the back by a pair of feet. "Surprise! Didn't expect me to show up, did you?"
