James sat at the bar in Drupers, picking over ihs fruit cup. He picked up a piece of apple with his fork and glared at it. "Not one damn bar in the entire city" he sighed, before shoving the slice into his mouth. He played with his Dragonfruit Lockseed absentmindedly, trying to figure out what to do with his time. HE debated tracking down a horsetrack. There had to be something interesting going on in this city.

And as if on cue Fate and her cronies busted through the door, all wearing colorful fruit costumes.
"Oh geez," said one guy in the back to his body, "It's the new guys in town. Team Discord."

James raised an eyebrow and turned around. "What the hell are in these fruits?" he asked, looking over another slice as he saw Team Discord.

"Fruits are love!" scowled the man at the counter, "Do not mock the power of the fruit!"
Fate and her minions strolled forward, stopping at the counter.
"A round of smoothies for my lovelies and I," she said, her sunglasses gleaming with artificial light.
The counter man nodded, "Fruits for the fruits."

James stared at the people in fruit costumes, eyes widened, trying to figure out how to respond. "Nice uh, getups" he said to Fate.

Fate turned to face him, lowering her glasses to get a good long look at him.
"Thanks," she said after licking her lips seductively. She noticed the people staring at her and her cronies and shook her head, "Some people just don't understand fashion."
