Overview:
Liam is rather cocky, and definitely views himself as someone bigger than he actually is. He believes that people should in fact know him, either from his work (admittedly small) or from his gaming ability (which he thinks a lot of people follow). His ego is a problem, but it doesn’t get in his way, at least according to him. It helps him through, but he is aware of the ego.

He’s cocky, but lacks seriousness for the most part, until the incident with the game. He’s become driven to survive and live, and refuses to give in and die. He’s not very trusting anymore, and wants to focus solely on the next goal.

He thinks fast and is more of a thinker than a fighter, but he’s learning and putting as much effort into it as he can in this new world. As the Seeker class, he requires his sword, and is putting hours into it. Normally he could turn people to his side or away from him with words, but not against the NPCs and the like of this world.

He’s not much of a leader, and doesn’t really want to be one, but he’s been thrust into that position now. He’s doing his best, but would love to hand leadership off.

In the real world he’s very defensive of his music, the 80’s and 90’s, and hates the music of today.

Liam was born to parents who didn’t pay a lot of attention to him. He instead was always off on his own with his friends. He always found music as a wonderful source of comfort, and something to do to kill time and truly enjoy. He wanted to do something with music as he grew up. He also got hooked on games, and became addicted to gaming.

Due to his love of music, and his parents neglect, he was never pushed to do well in school. He got by on charm and wit, and by being a quick thinker. He developed a cocky attitude after a while, and loved it, keeping it.

As he left high school he forewent college and began to work as a radio DJ. Over time and years, he ended up doing well for himself, while also working on his gaming, entering tournaments and the like, which helped promote his show as well. Things went well, and eventually he was invited to the “Sword of Light Invitational”.

He ended up placing highly in his category and moving onto test a full immersive MMORPG based on the Sword of Truth. However, they soon learned that they were trapped within the game. Other players were fine, but himself and four others were trapped, but they did have the power to Morph if nothing else, thanks to the Invitational.

Having read the Wikipedia summary of the series before playing for the first time, he at least has a vague idea of what might be coming…
