Strengths:

• Thanks to extensive training and certain special modifications, his body has surpassed the limits of what one would consider human. He's strong enough to lift a car over his head and toss it like a ragdoll, he's fast enough to be catch up with a cheetah in a foot race, and durable enough to survive getting pushed out of a ten story building.  
• He's able to use just about any mundane object (basketball, soccer ball, yo-yo, teacup, etc.) as a dangerous weapon.  
• He knows a lot about Japanese history and mythology. 

Weaknesses:

• Reminding him of his singleness will cause him to go into instant depression (not while in Juumonji Mode however).
• His modified body has given him a very high metabolism. He needs to eat A LOT. 
• All Kamen Teachers are psychologically programmed with a safe word that will cause their body to temporarily shut down. His is mahogany.
• He sometimes forgets his own strength and breaks things.

Overview: Surprise, Araki and Hayato are actually the same person, not clones, brothers, or split personalities or something like that. Hayato Juumonji, aka the Kamen Teacher, is a role he plays. While Araki is always smiling and can seem like bit of a butt monkey, Hayato is calm, cold, collected and kind of trollish towards the students on the receiving end of one of his special lessons, which usually consist of Kamen Teacher beating the tar of some delinquents and shaving the letters KT into their hair.

Araki Gota ruled his school as the number one delinquent in town. Anybody that challenged him received a swift kick in the face. He formed a gang of all the challengers he had defeated making it the largest and strongest gang in the prefecture. No one could stand up to them. Any gang that was foolish enough to would soon could swallowed up.

That all changed when a masked teacher arrived at his school. He defeated every single member of his gang until only Araki remained, leaving them humiliated and with a shaved head. Eventually it was time for Araki to face the masked teacher, one on one. He gave a gallant effort, but alas it was all in vain. He found himself attending all his classes for the rest of the year with a shaved head. The masked teacher had single handily demolished his entire gang and even broke him.

This spurned Araki to give up his delinquent lifestyle and actually focus on his studies. It was such a turn around that he was eventually approached by the masked teacher to join a secret government project called the Kamen Teacher Program. Using advanced technology and mystical arts, they sought to transform the human body into a tool for educating the problem children of today's Japan.

Araki agreed immediately and soon he was a whole another person - literally. He wasn't just Araki Gota, teacher, he was now also Hayato Juumonji - Kamen Teacher. Araki and "his assistant teacher" Juumonji traveled from school to school, giving special lessons to problem students and spurring them back onto the right path.

The legend of the Kamen Teacher had spread to educational institutions all across the island nation. They were students, teacher, wives, husbands, brothers, sisters, principals, janitors - they were everywhere.. until they were was only one. A long time member of the program went rogue and massacred everyone at the Program before hunting down and eliminating every Kamen Teacher, one by one, until only Juumonji remained.

Araki and Juumonji continue their mission, unfazed. When the day comes he has to face this rogue, he will stand ready to give him an extra special lesson.
