Anna sat at a piano, boredly plunking notes. She really had no idea how to play a piano, she was hoping that randomly hitting keys would give her some kind of inspiration. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to be working. She sighed and took another look at her set list. She was supposed to be performing on a live morning show tomorrow. Anna had already planned out every one of her tricks meticulously, but the producers put the kibosh on her wanting to cover "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic". So now she had no opening, no entrance. She flipped over her setlist, and looked at the songs that she had approval to sing on the air related to magic.
"Magic by Olivia Newton John, Magic by BoB..." she sighed and tossed the list away. Either they were stupid or were just songs she couldn't pull off. She plopped her head down, her face landing in the keys.

Marilen had gone around with work, and had eventually gotten herself job on said morning show. It was just a behind the scenes thing, but it worked for her. She had been sent off to find Anna and make sure that she was still ready for the next morning.

"I've got the magic in me" Anna badly white girl rapped. "Every time I touch that track it turns into... complete shit." Anna pulled out a pen and crossed the song off of the list. She was panicking. If she wanted to get up in time to be in any shape to perform in the morning, she had little time to rework anything. She looked over the list. "Do You Believe In Magic?" she said, studying it like the Bible. "It'll have to do..."

When Marilen found Anna she waited around a little before going up to her, "Are you still ready to go on tomorrow?" she asked.

"Yes!" Anna lied through her teeth. "Yes I am!" She took one more look at the list of the approved songs and decided to risk asking the question. "So The Police still won't let me cover their song?"

Anna sighed. "I open every show with a musical number, something upbeat to get them in the mood for magic." Anna smiled as a rush of energy flew through her. Her smile then faded. "But I cant use my go to number."
