Thorne sat at a coffee shop, trying to think. He thought a change of pace might be good for him, and it might inspire him, but as he looked at his notepad, he had nothing. No designs had come to him, and that wasn't good. He always liked to add in new designs when he could, but he hadn't in a while. He had to come up with something...

Taylor needed some coffee, and a place to hide. She'd managed to lose a few rather rabid fans around the corner, and wanted it to stay that way, so she ducked into the coffee shop, going to stand in line to order a drink.

As Thorne took a drink he looked around a little. A woman caught his eye, and he looked down at his pad, and then back up. He lifted his pad and started to draw, continually looking between her and the paper.

Taylor ordered her coffee and went to stand by the end of the counter. As she was waited, she noticed some guy looking at her, then back at the pad he was holding. One of them was in here. She got her coffee and walked over to him. "You know, I have plenty of fan drawings coming to me in the mail every day. I don't need one taking material from my daily life." Taylor said.

He looked up at her with a slightly confused look on his face, "I'm sorry, what?" he asked, turning the pad over. It was a necklace he was sketching.

Taylor saw the picture. "Wait... If you're..." She sat down across from him. "Why are you looking at me if you're drawing a necklace?"

"Inspiration," he said.

Taylor blinked. "About that earlier comment, I'm sorry. People send me fan art. It ranges from cute to really creepy. We got off the wrong foot. I'm Taylor."

"Thorne," he smiled. "Now...fan art? I'm sorry, you're obviously something, and I don't actually know who or what you are."

"Oh, I sing. I'm mildly famous." Taylor said, a twinge of sarcasm in her voice.

"That doesn't quite help me," he said.

"Well, I sing. I'm a singer. It's what I do. I have fans. They draw pictures of me and mail them to me." Taylor replied. "Most get tossed out."

"A lot of people can call themselves singers. What level in the hierarchy, so to speak, are you?"

"Well, I have 4 albums published, each with over 150,000 copies sold. I can sell out medium-size venues." Taylor said. "I come up pretty early in Google searches."

"Ah, so I should be sure to be on my best behavior then," he said.
