Seeking the Shadow [Sayuki]

Sayuki had gone to the forest for some training, as much as she hated being a samurai due to her lineage she decided that if she was going to be a samurai she might as well train, at the very least it would take her out of the house and somewhere without those annoying people. She went deep into the forest where no one will be able to find her until she was ready to go out when she heard the sound of something being sliced apart, curious as to who it was she crept towards the sound, only to see someone using a blade to cut some bamboo poles apart.

She didn't know that people also came here to train since she thought only she came here to train, but it seemed she was wrong, she had never met the woman before so she was a new person. She was about to leave when her foot stepped onto some leaves as it crackled loudly.

Sayuki twirled to face the woman as she spoke to her rudely and towards the Shiba house too, which was surprising since she thought that the woman was also a retainer. "Yeah I am so?" she asked crossing her arms.

Sayuki looked at the woman as her eyes gazed to the floor before apologising citing that she was frustrated, "It's ok...I guess I am too," she said since she wasn't this snappy at people. The woman introduced herself as Kari Shiba as Sayuki's eyes widened, "Shiba..." She gasped before she looked at Kari, "what do you mean abandoned by your family?" she asked.

Sayuki's eyes widened, she may not know much about Gedou or Mojikara (ironically) but she knew enough to know that such things should be taken into consideration no matter what. A person falling to Gedou was bad, but there was always redemption, and she hated when people were judged simply on the words of others. Her ancestor Nobunaga Oda had been demonised in shows, games and books simply because of his actions when all she wanted to do was unify Japan and bring harmony to it. "That's...that's disgusting," she said with anger in her tone, "if they were your family they should have supported you and investigate deeply into it, to cast you out simply because of it...I can't forgive such people," she said before she gasped and realised what she said, "my apologies I shouldn't be talking about your family that way to you," she said.

Sayuki gave the smallest of smirk, "You don't need to act all kuudere you know," she said, "it's fine in being upset if you want to, I know I would...why don't you join our house then?" she asked.

"Eh...really?" Sayuki said smiling a bit before tilting her head in askance, "what do you mean by that?" she asked referring to Shiba's remark about the house.

"Ah I see," Sayuki said understanding where she was coming from, being prejudiced simply because of what you did and having it repeat again would be a painful process, that was why she would want to see what they are like first before going in. "Yeah I can kind of see it...but just staying here and not talking to them won't give you the answer, if you're too afraid of facing them then you'll always be afraid of facing them and won't get the answer. And you're not a coward are you Miss Shiba-chan?"
