Overview: Rena, at first glance, appears to be the cool and collected type to those who don't know her well enough. In actuality, though, this is only to make her appear cooler than she actually is; she's actually very emotional, and is capable of understanding the emotions of other people. She is also very determined when something catches her interest, and will not give up on trying to obtain that something. With Hillary, she's generally very witty, and is not above snarking on her surroundings or situation with her best friend.

Henshin Sequence: Rena flips open the front of the ZECT Buckle, and docks the PunchHopper Zecter inside of it, which initiates the transformation.

Fighting Style: Brawler, using her fists as her weapons by using a variety of punches.
Weapons: Anchor Jack - The gold-joints installed onto the right arm of Punch Hopper. Shaped like grasshopper legs, these joints have the ability to click down and rebound back up. This rebounding force helps Punch Hopper punch multiple times at high speeds.
Abilities: Is able increase her speed with Clock Up.
Finisher(s): Rider Punch - When the legs of the Hopper Zecter are pulled up, a charge surges to Punch Hopper's right leg where she leaps high into air. From here, she sets up her attack by pulling the Hopper Zecter's legs back down (to default position) and attacks off her right arm with a punch from above. With the aid of the Anchor Jack, Punch Hopper takes the power of several lightning-fast punches, plus the tachyon energy released from the Hopper Zecter's core, and channels it all into one massive attack, causing tremendous damage to the victim.

Rena Nozawa was born in Los Angeles, Rena's life was decidedly average. While her parents were busy with work, they were there often enough to take care of her, but where Rena was generally able to take care of herself when she was at home. In elementary school, she befriended a girl named Rina Hirata, and they have been close friends, save for one fight before they entered middle school of which they don't remember the cause, only that they became practically inseparable as a result. Their families began to interact more as well, having dinners and the occasional vacation, one such vacation resulting in both Rena nearly drowning, and Rina ending up saving her life -- a favor Rena had to repay mere minutes later.

Their near-death experience cemented their friendship come middle school, and in celebration of their graduation from the second stage of primary education, the Nozawa and Hirata families spent a week-long trip at Disneyland to kick off their summer. That summer also saw them get their first crushes, though neither worked out in the end; while Rena got over it rather quickly, to this day she still worries that Rina still hasn't.

Now the two are midway through their freshman year of high school, the two are continuing to move forward in their own way.
