Overview: Takaiwa is a serious and a very proud man. He considers himself to be the ideal business man: strong, smart, daring, and pragmatic. He gets the job done and there's no stopping him from accomplishing that. Takaiwa puts his life's work ahead of others and will not tolerate anyone who gets in his way of his duty. Although not exactly a fan of perfection, he will do whatever it takes to put his best work out there.

Henshin Sequence: To transform, Takaiwa opens the lock on the Lockseed, then attaches it onto the Drive Bay. He then closes the lock to secure it onto place, and presses the Cutting Blade knife down, which cuts open the Lockseed itself to initiate the transformation. Takaiwa's bodysuit will be formed first before the transformation is finished when a huge mechanical fruit falls onto his head and folds out to form his armor.

  • Blood Orange Aulait - empowers his Blood Daidaimaru to unleash a Rider Slash, which not only cleaves through an opponent's armor, but also through the air to create a distorted rift, before exploding
  • Blood Orange Sparking - causes his armor to fold up and act as a protective shield. Anything that comes in contact with it will bounce/slide right off.

Takaiwa was born to a no-nonsense family of two wealthy individuals. Unlike most rich kids however, Takaiwa was never taught to be spoiled and rather was given the tough love and work-means-success treatment, despite the wealth. Takaiwa resented his parents for putting such pressure on him despite his arguments of their high social status, but he had no choice but to give into their demands and he would be forced to study his ass off and strive to be top of class. It would only be a matter of time that he would be able to adapt to the mentality that was forced on him. And so he did, and later education career could only be described as something out of a typical success story: top of class, went to Princeton University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in both Science and Business, before flying over to Zawame to join Yggdrasil and working there since. Takaiwa's intellect was truly remarkable for someone his age and his ambitious character was recognized by Yggdrasil, and he was hired without a second thought. Since then, Takaiwa had been working hard for multiple divisions in the company, ranging from studying Helheim and Lockseeds to maintaining the financing and money it needs from the Japanese government. In his later years, he's collaborated with a variety of people in Yggdrasil in figuring out how they would reach the company's agenda and fulfilling its main interests; some people he has worked with included a man he would dare not forget, Takatora Kureshima, whose commitment to the company was greater than his.

Takaiwa did have a family life, but he and his wife divorced when Takaiwa began to put too much of his work in Yggdrasil into his family and tearing it from there. It was only made worst when he found out that his son was shot and killed over a matter regarding a Lockseed, which would later lead to his hatred towards delinquents, specifically the Dance Teams and later on have him question the work he has done for Yggdrasil. The stress and frustration of these events would later be partially responsible for his sudden development of a heart complication which would go on to limit his physical capabilities for the company.

Recently, he's been working on a project alongside his boss Paul Herbert involving the evolution of Lockseeds and the creation of a new Driver. However, the project has faced some setbacks since two prototypes were thought to have been stolen after the camp Takaiwa was working in was attacked by an huge mob of Inves...
