Dr. Takaiwa was currently working on trying to stabilize the current portal inside Yggdrasil's building that leads to the Helheim Forest. Recently, the portal has been malfunctioning, in a manner that the portal wants to close on its own despite their technology's attempts to keep it open, and this technical issue has been bugging Takaiwa since.

Somewhere within the Helheim Forest, Marcus Stone was a bit confused. He'd started off on a walk through the woods somewhere in northwest Canada to train, and somehow had ended up in a rather... peculiar... piece of forest that contained plants he didn't recognize. Drawing his pistol, he'd decided to play it safe in case the place had been designed as some form of trap, and proceeded as cautiously as possible. He'd heard growls and roars on the uncommon occasion on his journey, and had kept the sidearm on his person to prevent any would-be Canadian predators at bay... but he had a feeling the things he'd been hearing were far from ordinary predators, let alone Canadian.
"Figures, I try and get some 'me' time in and somehow the universe has to flip me the biggest bird possible. The hell is this place, anyway?"
He'd been doing his best to keep his pistol in a law enforcement-style grip, checking around trees and larger boulders regularly as he proceeded. The things he'd been hearing were around, but none of them had decided to show themselves... yet.

While Takaiwa worked on a computer, entering various codings and commands to maintain the portal, an alarm sound broke his concentration. He saw some of his fellow scientists manning their stations to address the cause of the alarm and the result arrived - someone has intruded Helheim.
No one reacted at first, as this kind of issue would usually be dealt by Mr. Kureshima since he was head of security and one of the few who knew Helheim in and out. However, a few minutes passed and Kureshima was a no show, which left the scientists momentarily confused.
Takaiwa scratched his head and picked up the phone, dialing Kureshima's office number and hoping he would pick up. When he got no response, he hung up and sighed, opening a drawer under one of the tables near him, and retrieved his Sengoku Driver and Lockseeds.
"I'll head out." he said and ordered. "Notify Kureshima ASAP that we have an intruder in Helheim."

Growls and other animalistic sounds were coming from a spot up ahead- it looked like a clearing. Staying low and under cover, Marcus slowly and quietly approached the edge of the place, pistol still at the ready, and waited. It looked like two or three... big... stone things. He scoffed slightly to himself, but continued to watch them. They seemed feral; they almost looked like they were grazing on something from the trees. He thought it best not to disturb them, though, and continued watching from his spot in the bushes.

If it were only that simple. Suddenly, the three feral creatures were attacked by a red flash that drove through them. As the creatures collapsed onto the ground, a second red flash occurred, obliterating them in a powerful explosion. When the smoke cleared, a red shogun-like figure stood before them, watching the remains burn to ash...

Marcus raised his head, pistol at the ready as the newcomer appeared, and raised his voice authoritatively toward the... samurai? The guy at least looked like one.
"Right there, pal, hold it! Keep your hands where I can see 'em and don't make any sudden moves!!"
He slowly emerged from the bushes, not aiming the weapon at the samurai but maintaining caution.
"You must be another of those Rider things I've been hearing about, which means you've got about ten seconds to tell me why I'm not in Canada anymore, and I'll even be generous and include another five to tell me who -you- are. Think we can do that, big guy?"

The red figure responded by pointing his own Musou Saber at him instead, resulting in a gun-to-gun standoff. "You're the one to talk. I am not fond of intruders."

Marcus' gun immediately snapped up to aim at the samurai's head upon provocation- a near-instinctual response coming from someone who'd been trained like he was, but he had the sense to keep his finger off the trigger a bit longer.
"Whoa whoa WHOA there Nobunaga, I don't care who you think you are but let's get somethin' straight... you tell me who you are, where I'm supposedly intruding, and where to get -off- this crazy train, and maybe I might be a bit more cooperative. You keep that overgrown pigsticker of yours pointed at me, however, and I promise you you're going to end up regretting it."
He let his voice calm down again before continuing.
"And, for the record, the place intruded on -me-, not the other way around. I'd love to be able to get out of Wonderland if I could just find a friggin' rabbit hole, you know?"

"You want out?" the man said. "I'll get you out."
He took out a Lockseed and activated it before tossing it out of his hands and into the air. As it went airborne, the lockseed enlarged and began to fold out, transforming into what appeared to be a rose-themed bike. The newly formed vehicle landed next to him and the figure grabbed the vehicle's handle bar and accelerated the bike...at Marcus' direction.
Fortunately, the figure strangely kept the bike in the same place as it sped up, kicking dirt everywhere. What the red samurai wanted to achieve with a stationary motorcycle was uncertain...

Marcus had to raise his eyebrow at the samurai tossing something into the air... and suddenly ending up with a motorcycle. He had to raise his eyebrow a bit higher, because while he was revving it up, he wasn't going anywhere with it. Lowering his weapon and holstering it, he determined that the samurai Rider was simply attempting to do... something... to get him out of the forest. However, the fact that he treated the place like private property was unnerving to him. He moved slowly out of the way of the motorcycle, staying within sight of the samurai as a good faith measure, and folded his arms.
"...while I appreciate the hasty exit... that still doesn't tell me where I am, who you are, or how I got here. I don't suppose you're trying to cover something up in this place, are you? The way you act, it's like this kind of thing happens all the time around here or something."
While he had stored his weapon, Marcus would be a complete idiot to lower his guard; he was looking around the place as the samurai busied himself with revving his machine up and roostertailing dirt behind him. There were strange fruits growing on trees around here; potentially the same thing those stone creatures were after. They looked enticing, but more importantly to Marcus they just plain looked weird. He reached over to a nearby tree and picked one, inspecting it.

"This place isn't for you." Takaiwa warned as he carefully watched the man's every action. "The less you know, the better off you'll be in the long run."
Once the bike had reached sufficient speed, strange zippers appeared in front of him and sprouted open like a plant, forming a portal to the outside world - Zawame City. He then told the man. "Alright, here's your exit. Now get lost-"
He instantly cut himself off when he saw Marcus picking one of the fruits off a tree, much to his anger. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?! Drop that!"

Marcus raised an eyebrow at the fruit. It didn't seem all that special, anyway... but he put it down next to the tree's trunk, and turned back toward the samurai, who had opened a portal using the motorcycle.
"I'll be the judge of whether I'm better off for knowing anything. However, I do owe you for the way out--"
And that's where he stopped. The way out was -not- to a Canadian forest... but it was a city.
"...well, it's a way out and it'll have to do."
He moved over next to the motorcycle, but stayed just out of arm's reach of the samurai, inspecting the exit... his right hand instinctively rested on the grip of his pistol, however. The exit was convenient, but there was no guarantee this place was safe just yet.
"I suppose you know where this leads me, and might have more information about the place out there, right? I'd sooner know where I'm being dropped off. And none of that Big Brother 'need to know' crap again, I've heard worse from less flashy characters than you before."

"Out, now." Takaiwa directed, and pointed his Musou Saber at him. "You have three seconds."

Marcus made a visible twitch.
"Y'know something, buddy, you really could use a lesson in manners."
He snapped his fingers on his left hand.
"Yo Sparky!!"
The American backed up a few feet from the motorcycle, toward the trees... and the distorted metallic chirp of his Zecter could be heard as it rushed through the portal, spinning at the weapon in the samurai's hand in an attempt to turn it away from Marcus, who revealed his Rider Belt after folding his arms.
"I can understand the lack of hospitality, but no way in hell am I going somewhere at a disadvantage, and -definitely- not on some ultimatum."

"I give you the chance to leave and you spat in my face." Takaiwa grunted, and stepped closer when he saw something fly towards the man, followed by him revealing a belt. He still kept his gun aimed at him, despite the man's attempt to throw off his aim, and threatened. "Don't even think about transforming, kid. I'll shoot you right before you get the chance."
