Overview:
Jefferson is a man who would prefer to keep to himself and not burden others with his problems, but he has difficulties keeping things in, because he also wants to be open and friendly. It creates a contrast in him that he really doesn’t like, but he keeps so that he can be a good, friendly person. Or try to be.

He listens more than he talks, or at least he tries to. He wants to hear what people have as problems, or as joys, and then be able to congratulate or help or do whatever he has to. He feels that he’s living life to try to help people. He also likes human nature, and tries to incorporate elements of it into his writing. One reason he tends bar is to listen and observe.

He’s an honorable man, and he will help you if you need help. If you want him to leave, he will, but he won’t look back. Once someone wants him gone, he’ll go, even if they change their minds. He finds humans interesting sometimes, and prefers to have to live with the consequences. It makes people think twice, and it’s a lesson.

He studied harder than average in school, and enjoyed reading while there. He doesn’t read much now, barely re-reading his own work. He sends that off to an editor or two or friends of his. He can’t read his own work, ever. It feels weird, which makes him much more careful as he writes, so as to not make too many mistakes or wording problems. He is often careful in real life as well, not really brash.

He doesn’t really care about money. He doesn’t make a lot from his books, but what he can he gives to charities, only keeping enough to get him by. He never wants to live a life of luxury or anything like that; he just wants to be able to get his stories out, his thoughts out, and to be able to help others in the process. If he meets people who liked his books, he’ll talk to them and enjoy their company. He’s not ashamed of his books, and always loves meeting fans of them.

He drinks when he writes, but not often otherwise. He’s also been known to occasionally indulge in marijuana while writing. He prefers jazz, and once more, uses it while writing. He tries to eat healthy and exercise daily to stay in good shape. He also does fight practice often, fighting shadows, however. He has nobody to train with.

He takes his duties as JiaoRanger gladly. He’s there to help humanity, and doesn’t look back. He moves forward and fights. He often will even talk to his inanimate sword, feeling it as an extension of himself, as something to speak to for some weird reason. Of course, this is when nobody is around, as it’s all a secret.

Jefferson is gay, and has had a few sexual partners. He has no problems moving between men, but doesn’t let things end badly. That’s one of the last things he wants. One of the things that will set him off very quickly is gay bashing and homophobes. He tries to deal with it, but it doesn’t always work out well. He has just recently come out publicly as gay within the last few years, and before that was always an activist for gay rights to same sex marriage.

Jefferson’s story dates back until the time of the early men, when the Dai and Gorma Tribes lived in something of a peaceful state. His ancestor found a power, but did not join the fight that saw the two Tribes losing their champions in battle. Instead, this power was kept in the family and hidden.

Jefferson’s parents lived in Sydney their entire lives, and Jefferson lived and attended school there, made friends there. He remained there through his entire school career. He did well as a student, almost always, even as a child. He read a lot as well, giving him a love of books. At some point he sat down and decided that he could do that.

He had his first experience with marijuana when he was seventeen and toying with some writing. He put the writing away for a few years, and would come back to it when he turned twenty. He began to continue his work, and with the help of alcohol and marijuana, managed to finish. One of his friends saw to it entering a contest of some sort, and he won. He won some respect as well, and it received a limited publication, bringing him some money.

He decided that he liked writing, and began to tend bar as a way of learning more about people. He did everything he could to learn more about people. He also became a gay rights activist as he began relationships with men, but in secret.

It was around this time that he discovered the power that his family had hidden away. He managed to unlock it after playing with it, and became JiaoRanger. He decided to carry on the duty that his ancestors had attempted to begin.

He moved away from Sydney sometime after this to pursue a career in America. He continued to tend bar as he moved around a little, and began to write more. He adopted a habit of music, alcohol and marijuana during his time in America, and continued on with his relationships with men.

He wrote two more books to some success, coming out as gay in a few years. He continued to write, and has recently begun to fight more as the Gorma have begun to appear once again.
