Overview: Giru has certainly earned his reputation as the most dangerous of Greeed by being a smart, sly and vicious being. He cares little for the minions who serve him, seeing them as silly disposable humans, a feeling only amplified by his disdain for the human race. In fact, he considers it a great insult should another Greeed ask him to take human form. He glories in carnage and destruction, and has no problem with running rampant if provoked.

Giru was created hundreds of years ago when the copy OOO Drivers were created. He was meant to embody the powers of energy, and the Purple OOO. He fought alongside his Lord in the initial OOO War, but all of the sides were wiped out in one of the greatest carnages history has ever seen.

During the first war, he gained something of a reputation as a megalomaniac, thinking only of himself and resorting to cowardly tactics should he be using. He was also known as a bloodthirsty warrior, often slaying warriors indiscriminately.

Giru was sealed with his Greeed brethren, and lay dormant for many centuries. The seal was eventually broken, and he was freed along with his Driver and Medals. Once he observed his Greeed brethren selecting champions for the OOO Wars, he endeavoured to do the same.

The trouble with Giru is that he is never completely satisfied with his choices. Once he tired of them, he usually “dispatched them” and gave the Medals and Driver to another. He’s been through at least five others, and who knows when he will be satisfied.
