Relationships:
Overview: Laurie is bubbly, and a bit of an optimist. She is always trying to get her teammates and coworkers to see the bright side of things – whether they want to or not. People can find her to be a bit abrasive for this.
Laurie is okay with people, at best. She was a part of the popular crowd in high school, but most of the people there found her to be a bit... off. Something about her near obsession with mythology didn’t sit right with them, especially after she got a pentacle as a tramp stamp. She rarely dates, to the point that some people assume (falsely) that she is celibate. She prefers to be with her books or a small circle of friends rather than be in the middle of a crowd – and definitely not the center of attention.
Laurie takes the rules more as a kind suggestion than a hard and fast rule. She prefers to do the right thing instead of follow rules to the letter – if she sees someone being attacked by a monster but is told by a superior not to interfere, she will ignore the order. Hell, that exact thing is what got her Accelular in the first place.

Forms:
- Form Name: Red Hunter
Image/ Description: Here

Fighting Style: Laurie’s fighting style is mostly focused on using her Bouken Javelin, with her Survibuster as a backup. She also combines this with the speed boost her legs get from the Seven League Boots, and she’s a force to be reckoned with... offensively anyway. Her hand to hand skills are a tiny bit lacking as well, at least when she doesn’t have magical assistance.
Weapons:
Bouken Javelin: Her main weapon
Survi-Blater: Sword mode and gun mode
Scope Shot: Her multi-tool
Abilities: HUD, head lights, enhanced stats.
Finisher(s): Javelin Crash – Hunter Red’s finishing attack where she hits the with a sword (spear) beam from her lance.
Other Equipment:
- A Walther Revolver and bullets
- Seven League Boots: A pair of golden boots that allow the user to “walk seven leagues in a step” - or to put it another way, she can move at super speed.
- Orion, Hound Of Artemis: Orion (named after the hunter) is a living Precious in the form of an ancient black German Shepherd. She found him in Greece guarding the ruins of the Acropolis. He is immortal, and has the ability to track anything or anyone down. He speaks and understands perfect English, but the problem is that he’ll only listen to the person who he deems worthy (Laurie), and even she can’t control him half of the time. He can be called and dismissed with a small silver dogwhistle.
History
Laurie was a mythology nerd for all of her life. Her mother was an anthropologist, and her father was a history teacher. Every night, from the time she was a year old until she was about six or seven, Laurie’s mother would read her some myth from a gigantic tome of them she kept on her bookshelf. Sure, it was a bit weird to read your kid tales of Titans castrating their fathers, the exploits of Old Man Coyote, or anything related to Egyptian myth, but Laurie didn’t care. Laurie would rather read about Baron Samhedi than watch cartoons at that age.
Laurie looked and dressed like a nerd up until puberty, where she evolved into a bit more of a social butterfly. She dressed in fancy, brightly colored clothing and started talking a bit like a valley girl cheerleader (which she was). She was still obsessed with myths and ancient relics however, and in her circle of friends she was usually pegged as “The Smart One”, which wasn’t wrong. In order to keep herself fit, she got into bojutsu and joined the track team, both of which were skills that paid off.
Three days before her (early) graduation, Laurie received a letter in the mail. It was from the Hunt Squadron, who were interested in her joining. The plan was originally for her to be an intern who cataloged Precious, but when the group she was with was attacked by robbers, she was the only one who could fend them off. So she was releuctantly given the red Accelular, despite the fact that she had only turned seventeen.
