Inner Stuff
Likes:
- Coffee (But it has to be black)
- Spicy food
- His employees
- Classical Music
Dislikes:
- People who think that they own the world because they’re rich (in other words, people like he used to be)
- Anyone messing with the people he cares about
- Museum (well, more of a burning hatred, but you get the point)
- Being underestimated
- Being compared to his father, or having his past brought up.
- Overly sweet foods
- Anyone bringing up anything related to his ex fiancé.
- Always gets a job done.
- Firm believer in second chances
- Has a multimillion dollar company backing him up.
- Very down to earth
- Fiercely protective of the people he cares for
Weaknesses:
- Acts very laid back and cocky, which can sometimes be a turn off.
- When he thinks someone he cares for is in danger, he becomes a bit clingy.
- Once you manage to get him angry, it’s in your best interest to get far away.
- Is completely awful with women, though the fact that he’s still not over his dead fiancé doesn’t help.
- His belief in second chances can sometimes be a problem, as he’ll often let his opponent live the first time they fight. (with exception of those who can’t be redeemed in any way, or those who wouldn’t be killed by a finisher).
- can be very uncompromising, and as such tends to make quite a few enemies.
Goal(s):
- Destroy every Gaia Memory and take down Museum.
- Redeem himself for everything he did as a Dopant.
- Find out who the original Kamen Rider Accel was
Habits/ Quirks:
- He’s always adjusting his tie when he wears one.
- When he lets an enemy go, or defeats a Dopant, he says, “This is your starting line. Make it a clean race from now on.” As he walks away.
Relationships:
- Alexis Raine- His fiancé, before her death. Aaron still visits her grave and talks to her at least once a week, and carries a photo of the two of them in his wallet.
- Maya Hart- His 23-year-old personal assistant. Despite tabloid stories to the contrary, they have never been in a relationship, and they treat each other more like siblings than anything else. She, along with the rest of Aaron’s inner circle, is aware of his identity as Accel.
- Henry Cavett- Father. Founder and former CEO of Cavett Corp., until an “anonymous” tip revealed that he was the biggest manufacturer of Gaia memories in America. Currently serving a life sentence. Was known for doing whatever it took to get ahead.
Overview:
On the surface, Aaron seems like your typical young playboy millionaire, at least personality wise. However, he’s really not that kind of person. He lives a penthouse, but it’s not enormous. He never gets a driver, and if he’s not working he prefers to use his bike anyway. He dresses to impress, especially when he’s going to a meeting or something like that, but he absolutely hates suits, and would much rather just dress casually. He also doesn’t like having his picture taken, or making public appearances (except for that one time he was listed as one of the top ten most handsome millionaires. Who could say no to that?). Not only does he not like the rich boy lifestyle, he dislikes anyone who lives that lifestyle. He’s also the textbook definition of a philanthropist, making numerous generous donations to charities every year.
However, you really wouldn’t know all this the first time you met him, because he is, putting it simply, a cocky bastard by nature. He doesn’t take anything too seriously outside of the office, and is known to make jokes at others expense. While he is a good guy once you get past his surface, a lot of people write him off when they first meet him. He tries, perhaps a little too hard, to distance himself from his past, however, and will get very angry if someone brings it up, or tries to use it against him. Once Aaron actually gets angry, it’s very hard to get him to calm down, and he will use whatever resources are available to him to bring the offender down. The easiest way to get him into this state, aside from bringing up his past, is to threaten someone he considers a friend. Ever since what happened to Alexis, Aaron had become a bit over-protective over his friends and allies, and if he feels they’re in danger, he will do whatever he can to protect them, even if it’s at the expense of the person he’s trying to protect.
While his past makes him angry, any and all references to Alexis will put him into a very depressed state, and he won’t want to be near anyone for a while. He hardly ever talks about her, and almost everyone who knows him has never even heard of her. He has a lot of self-hatred regarding her fate, so he tries to mask it with his cocky-rich-guy persona. However, this self-hated also fuels his belief in second chances. The way he sees it, if someone as unforgivable as him could get a second chance, then everyone deserves one.

History
Aaron Cavett was born to the fabulously wealthy Henry Cavett, and one of the elder Cavett’s many ex wives. He’s pretty sure she was blonde, but aside from that, Aaron doesn’t have any memory of his mother, who disappeared shortly after details of an affair between her and one of Henry’s VPs came to light. The VP disappeared with her, so it was assumed that they ran off together. Or at least, that’s what people hoped happened.
Growing up, Aaron was very spoiled, and his father raised him to think that money was everything, and that you could never have enough of it. Cavett Corp. dealt in everything from investments to weapons, so there was no shortage of cash. Of course, what everyone but a few company insiders didn’t know was that Cavett Corp. was under contract from museum to create and distribute Gaia Memories in the U.S. Aaron was 16 when he got his first memory, as well as a memory driver, so he wouldn’t have to deal with side effects.
When Aaron wasn’t being groomed by his father to run his dirty business, he was the typical rich kid. He would go out to clubs, had about twenty girlfriends at a time, and was generally wasting his life. The fact that he also had a Gaia Memory didn’t help, as anyone who ever got in his way was brushed aside as quickly as they came. After all, the quote always driven into his head was “Power means never having to say you’re sorry.” However, things changed when he met Alexis.
Aaron was 22 at the time. He had just broken up with a girl who’s name he couldn’t even remember when he saw Alexis in a bar. He immediately felt drawn to her, so he started flirting. He was promptly and brutally shot down, so he brought up his money, and that only seemed to turn her off more. Before she could leave, however, he got in her way and begged her for one date. All of Aaron’s “friends” couldn’t believe what they were seeing. The rich kid who left a trail of broken hearts in his wake was begging a girl for a date. And he was shot down again, but this time the girl at least told him her name.
The next night, he went back to that bar, and sure enough, she was there again. Once again, he asked her out, but once again, she turned him down. This became a routine for the two of them for the next few weeks. He would go to the bar, ask her out, and be turned down. His friends told him to just give it up, and his father’s only answer was “There are plenty of other women.” But he couldn’t get her out of his head; she was the first person his money hadn’t been able to buy. It got to the point where he was tempted to turn into a Dopant and force her into going out with him. Of course, he doubted that would score many points, so he called that plan b.
Finally, on what must have been the hundredth time he tried, she said that she’d go out to dinner with him the next night. When he asked her why she finally said yes, she just laughed and said that if he was that determined for her to go out with him, then maybe he wasn’t just some dumb rich kid. The next evening, the date went incredibly, and Aaron was sure he was in love. Alexis was intelligent, beautiful, and funny. However, while walking her back to her apartment, a thug showed up out of nowhere and grabbed her, threatening her if Aaron didn’t give him everything on him. Aaron’s immediate response was to use his Gaia Memory, and the thug ran off. However, as he transformed back, Alexis looked at him with hate filled eyes. She didn’t say anything before running off, slamming the door in his face.
Aaron tried calling her, desperate to get a second chance. However, it always went to her answering machine, and at one point she changed her recording to “If it’s the Dopant, just hang up!” However, he had worked for her before, and he would work for her again. Finally he got an answer. Alexis apologized for just running away, but she then explained that she couldn’t see him any more. Apparently, her father had been a detective working on Dopant cases in her hometown, and he had wound up being killed by one. Before she could hang up the phone, however, Aaron swore to her that if she gave him a second chance, then he’d never use his Gaia Memory again. After a moment’s hesitation, she agreed, and they went on their second date the next day.
The next five years were the best in Aaron’s life. Every chance he could, he was with Alexis. Though he didn’t notice it, being with her was beginning to change him. He wasn’t flaunting his money or his father’s influence anymore, he wasn’t wearing fancy clothes just because he could, and true to his word, he never used his Gaia Memory or Memory Driver, though he still kept them on him, just for protective purposes (at least, that’s what he told himself). However, he still kept the fact that his father’s company was Museum’s biggest partner in America to himself, but even that lie of omission didn’t affect how he felt about Alexis. However, Henry Cavett was worried that his son was spending too much time with her and not enough time getting ready to take over, but Aaron completely disregarded him.
Finally, on their 5-year anniversary, he asked her to meet him at the same bar that they had first met at. Once she entered, he smiled and pulled out a ring. “You’ll probably make me ask again a hundred times, knowing you.” He said, “But will you marry me?” It only took her a few seconds to say yes.
However, Henry wasn’t very happy to hear the news. The girl was a bad influence on his son, and she needed to go.
While Alexis and Aaron were out looking for a venue for their coming wedding, a Dopant acme out of nowhere and attacked them. However, it was obvious his main target was Alexis. Aaro tried fighting back without transforming, but he didn’t stand a chance. Finally, he looked at Alexis and apologized before transforming into his Dopant form, for what would be the last time. The rest was a blur, but Aaron distinctly remembered someone’s attack going rouge, and Alexis falling. Aaron charged at the Dopant, mercilessly attacking them until a blast from his side knocked him away. A red kamen rider had shown up. He quickly dealt with the other dopant, before turning on Aaron.
However, he was surprised to see him already back to human form, cradling Alexis’s lifeless body in his arms. The rider walked up and introduced himself as Accel. He gave the boy his consolations for his loss, but then went on to say that it could have been avoided if he hadn’t transformed. This would have angered Aaron, but it was true. Aaron took out his memory and smashed it on the ground, and threw his driver away from him. He wanted nothing more than to die, to be with Alexis. But then Accel said something Aaron would never forget: “Kid, this is your starting line. Make it a clean race from here. That’s what she would want.” Before Aarin could say anything else, the rider was gone. He looked over at the human the dopant had turned into, and was shocked to see that it was his father’s assistant.
A few days later, Henry Cavett was arrested in his office, for producing and distributing Gaia Memories. His son, through a deal with the FBI, was named the new CEO. Before long, everyone else involved in Gaia Memory production had been rounded up, and everyone who had been in his father’s inner circle wee fired. Aaron was now in complete control of all of his father’s assets, and he quickly started making Cavett Corp. into a better, brighter company. He stopped all weapons production, began donating quite a bit of money to various charities, and most importantly, cut all ties to Museum. Obviously, that didn’t go over well with them, but for the most part, Cavett Corp. was doing just as well as it always had, if not better, especially since he had begun buying out or taking down any company that he knew produced memories.
However, it wasn’t long before Aaron began receiving threatening messages from the companies he had pissed off. He shrugged it off at first, figuring he had better things to do then deal with an attack that probably wouldn’t happen. F course, that was until a dopant actually attacked him on his way home from work. However, before it could kill him, Accel showed up again and defeated it. Apparently, he had been keeping an eye on Aaron since that day. He untransformed, and took off his driver, tossing it, along with his memory, to Aaron. “I’ve been meaning to retire, and since you have enemies coming out of your ears, I figured you need this more than me.” He said, when Aaron asked what it was for. He then drove off before Aaron could even ask him for his name.
That was two years ago, and since then Aaron has been fighting as Kamen Rider Accel, to stop the production of Gaia Memories once and for all, and to generally atone for what he used to be.
