Habits/ Quirks:

• Has unusually bad taste when it comes to fashion, decorating, etc. Back when she was an idol she had people to pick out her clothes for her and
  still has many of those clothes today, but when she goes shopping by herself she'll always pick out the most hideous looking thing. Here is an example of something she would defiantly consider cute.

Relationships:

• Mayu Watanabe - Yuki's hikkikomori friend that has been staying at her place for a while. Yuki treats her like a little sister or even a daughter despite them being only 2 years apart.
• Shinkengers - The four samurai that serve the Shiba House.
• Hikoma Kusakabe - affectionately called Jii, he is Yuki's retainer and guardian. He acts as the Shinkengers' mentor and was the one who chose Yuki' four retainers.
  

Overview: Yuki tends to act very feminine and lady-like, but turns into an all-out ham when reacting to something which has earned the nickname "Reaction Queen" in some circles. She may seem stuck-up and prissy at first, but is real friendly when you get to know her. She has been raised since birth to be a true samurai and believes in following tradition and the way of the sword (Bushido) very strongly. Though she has this strong belief in the traditions of the Shiba House, she still wants to follow her dream of being a successful voice actor.

After a run-in with a certain individual, she has come to believe all men are lustful pigs and looks down upon them. The only men she has respect for anymore are her own father, the other ShinkenRed, and Hayao Miyazaki (who she is a huge fan of).

17 generations ago, a group of samurai came together under the lord of the House of Shiba in order to defeat the monstrous Gedoushu from destroying Japan and the rest of the planet. The powers of the original Shinkengers are passed down from generation to generation in order to combat the Gedoushu and any other non-worldly threat to their country. Flash forward to twenty one years ago, when the only child of the 17th Lord of the Shiba household was born. Her name was Yuki and she was destined to one day lead the Shinkengers into battle like her father before her.

Yuki was raised strictly in the way of the samurai, Bushido, by her father. She didn't have any friends and when she was not training, she was quite lonely. Her father was not a cruel man. He was just upset that he did not give birth to a son despite how many times he and his wife tried. He did not want his precious daughter to fight the Gedoushu. He wanted her to live as an ordinary girl.

Though she was home-schooled up until then, her father did eventually give in and allow her to attend a public high-school under the name Yuki Kashiwagi (to protect her from the enemies of the Shiba Clan and ensure she had a peaceful high-school life). It was there she was introduced to the ways of modern Japan. Telling her father she had to go to the library to study, she instead went to an audition for some big-time record label. They loved her and her rise to idoldom began. Of course she couldn't let her father find out so to hide her identity she wore a mask and called herself Masked Idol Yukirin.

Though her father was oblivious to his daughter's newfound stardom, the rest of the household supported her in efforts, allowing her to escape for a few days when she needed to leave town to perform a big concert elsewhere. She returned home one day to find that her father, ironically, was listening to her CD saying he had become an overnight fan of the mysterious Masked Idol.

After two years of living the Idol life, she decided to retire. She had a blast, but since she was close to graduating she needed to focus on inheriting her father's position. During her final year of high-school, she met a young freshman named Mayu Watanabe. They became fast friends with Yuki often chastising her for using her intellect for non-intellectual things.

Not long after her first met Mayu, her father became ill and died - not on honorably on the battlefield, but asleep in his bed. With his passing, Yuki became the 18th head of the Shiba household and the new ShinkenRed. She did not believe she was ready for such a responsibility so she appointed Jii to take care of things while she continued her training alone. She moved to a house owned by the Shiba Clan in the woods on the other side of town. 

It was lonely being in such a big house by herself so she was more than thrilled when Mayu had used herself as a test subject and had gained a weaker body in return. Yuki took her into her home where she stayed coped up ever since.

Fast-forward to the present where the Gedoushou are more active than ever causing the Shinkengers to once again unite under the lordship of ShinkenRed. Yuki often assists them from the shadows, waiting for the right time to make herself known to the rest of the team. Though the main house has offered to support her lifestyle, she has instead taken work as a voice actress - making sure not to travel to any faraway studio as she must take care of Mayu who has become a full on hikkikomori.
