"First off, I designed and made my own clothing. Second, well done. You'll do good." Alladin smiled. "We'll talk later." He turned back to David, his smile vanishing. "As for you, I'm not teaching you my father's language. But I would like to know what that spell you used earlier to form that cloud was. It had a certain familiar feel to it."

Erika herself was curious to know about the language he'd used to construct the phones. But it didn't look like he was willing to explain it to the other mage. She listened quietly, waiting to hear if the other mage would talk about the cloud spell. She doubted he would. Why should he share his knowledge if Mr. Waynguard wouldn't?
Well done? What? What part had she done well? She'd do good? How could he possibly know that. She had been trying her hardest to save others but if she had better control over her powers she could do so much more. And killing dangerous sentient creatures...She really hated that part. And why could her visions only show her terrible things? Was the nature of her magic dark?

Of course he wouldn't tell him the language he used. No doubt it was a family language and therefore passed on from one person to the next as the man then asked what kind of language he used to form the cloud as David shrugged, "Celtic, normal language to summon a thunderstorm, hardly anything dark or evil about it," he retorted.

She was surprised the other mage was so cooperative. "Can you show me how?" Erika asked, eager to learn.

David smirked as he looked at Alladin, "If he would allow me," he said.

"You're not a druid, so don't give me any bullshit about casting in Celtic. And the storm was clearly destroying a lot of property and killing a lot of people, so one assumes it to be dark magic. It was also all big and dark and ominous, which isn't helping your case." Alladin said. "And don't listen to him."

Erika turned to Mr. Waynguard excitedly. "Please let him show me!" she begged. She'd never had a formal lesson in magic. She was eager to be instructed.

Blast...that didn't work. The language was somewhat a derivation of Celtic, which was used for the more dangerous forms of magic, and true the cloud was destroying property and people. He wondered if it would be any useful to continue to lie to the man as he bowed, "My sincerest apologies, the spell I used might have been dark...I obtained this book from a nearby magical bookshop, I am an avid collector of magical books and I did not know that the result would be this kind of magic, and besides: all magic is neutral. The classification of light and dark depends on how it is used. Take example the spell I used, it can be argued that what it can be used for is evil: but what if someone had used it to destroy a group of monsters? Would it still be dark? Or would it be classified as a good magic? Appearance-wise it is a bit dark I will admit, but the usage of it can be used for good if one were to think on it" he argued.
The girl begged the man to show her the power of the spell as he began to worry a bit, the spell was a powerful one and he didn't have a good target to use, "I would...however if I use it he will only say that I am destroying property and hurting people. I do not have a good target to use it on, if there was a monster I would show it to you gladly," David said to the girl calmly.

Erika grew excited. "You understand!" she said eagerly. "Knowledge itself is pure! It's how you use the spells that determines whether they're viewed as good or evil. And even morality is subjective. But learning...Obtaining the information...That's never wrong. You can learn something and choose to never use it! You shouldn't be ashamed about learning from a dark spell book!" she agreed.
She bobbed her head up and down. "I certainly wouldn't want you to hurt anyone or anything. Is there another spell you could show me? Maybe one that wouldn't hurt anything?" She really wanted to learn. There was so much she didn't know.

David smiled, the girl did understand the true moral standing of magic, magic isn't evil or good. One use it whether for good or evil. Much like himself, ironic considering that he was a dark mage and wanted to destroy humanity and populate it with magic people, he would even use light magic if it provided him with the means to destroy people. However dark magic was the thing that would enable true destruction capabilities as the girl asked him if he could show her any kind of magic as he nodded, "Of course I know one that should impress you," he said as he took out his WolPhone and incanted a tone, a normal one that did not contain any dark language or light: one that any mage can use, as a small flame bird erupted out of thin air as it flew up and squawked before vanishing. "Does that satisfy you?" he asked.

"Magic may be morally neutral, but there is definite dark and light magic. Dark magic corrupts. It seduces. It takes you in, makes you into a monster." Alladin said. "I lost my brother, the one I swore to protect, to dark magic. I'm not going to allow that to happen to anyone else." He suddenly noticed the WolPhone, pulling out his pocketwatch. "Where did you get that phone?"

David looked back at the phone and then at Alladin with a calm look on his face, "I received this phone from my father, I am sure that you received your own method of magic from your father, he was a mage who loved to research how to improve magic and this phone is the result of it. It is my keepsake of him," David said as he pocketed the phone.

"That's a lie. That phone is almost identical to the Magiphones I designed, except it seems to be powered by darker magics." Alladin said. "Where. Did. You. Get. It."

"I am sure there are people researching whatever your father was researching," David snarled, "it is not like he was the only researcher that was working on it. There are other people out there that are continually researching magic styles so that all mages may benefit from it. Now...if you have nothing more to say than to accuse my father of plagarism I will take my leave," as he turned and began to walk away in an angered manner.

"Danos Waynguard was a member of the Council of 9, in Greyhaven. My father was not even of this world." Alladin called after him. "It's a logical impossibility someone here on Earth was researching exactly the same thing my father and I were, when it was revolutionary even in a world composed wholly of magic-users. Now, where did you get the phone?"
