"Cécile Simard," she said without hesitation. She always provided a name when asked. She didn't care if people would use it to track her later or hunt her down. She wanted to die so there was no need to be overly cautious.
"You know, typically it's polite to offer your own name when asking for others; but, I never really gave a crap about being pc. I'll settle with a location. Any idea where I am?"

"Souma." Haruto replied, once again leaving his first name out. "And this location is a desolate island with a dark past. I suggest you leave if you do not have any business here."

"I think this is where I'm supposed to say nice to meet you or a pleasure to make your acquaintance or something; but, you're hardly a bundle of joy so I hope you don't mind if I skip all that. Well...Even if you mind I'm still skipping it."
"Well, Souma it's all well and good that you want me to leave. Trust me, I'm on board with that. But I have no idea how I got here and no idea how to get off."
She wasn't new to dark pasts. She got that. "What kind of dark past?" she asked curiously.

"A Sabbath..." Haruto replied, though like the other, this young woman probably didn't know what that term meant. "This place isn't for tourists, now lea-"
He stopped his sentence when he caught movement from the corner of his eye. When he turned to look, he could see a trio of phantoms heading their way. "Phantoms? But how?"

Cécile was about to ask what a Sabbath was and point out that she wasn't a tourist when she heard him mention phantoms. Fantastic. She wouldn't get a chance to figure out where the fuck she was or how the fuck she got here without a fight. She didn't know what phantoms were; but, when in doubt transform.
She loaded her Beast Battery into the muzzle, did a quick few dance steps, and then fired into the air shouting "Today's a good day to die!"
"Anything I should know about phantoms?" she asked as KyoryuCyan.

"Teleport, Now."
A young mage appears, her back to the two of you, as she faces the Phantoms, unaware of the two behind her right at that moment...

"They're creatures born from-" Haruto attempted to explain as he placed his Change Ring on his finger, but the sight of someone teleporting in front of him caught him off-guard. "-despair?"
Summoning his Wizardriver, he asked more to himself. "Since when was this island a center of attention for everybody?"

"I don't know about being a center of attention, but Garu-chan told me of Phantoms being seen here." She points up at the little bird who escaped attention. "Explanations later, let's just go." she stands next to him, calling out, "Henshin!" and doing a small dance in place, extending her hand upward and then lowering it to her belt.
"Change, Now."
The orange gold seal scrolls up over her, revealing her Rider Form.

"Um...Yeah...Didn't come here on purpose. No, idea how I got here," Cécile insisted. Creatures born from despair? Cécile would have to be careful she didn't create any herself.
"Any obvious weaknesses or do we just shoot, pummel, and stab them until they die?" she asked all business like.

CHANGE, NOW
A golden magical seal formed downwards on Haruto, transforming him into Sorcerer, all while hearing the female Kyoryuger ask him a question. "They're vulnerable to magic." before summoning his Dis Halberd and charging towards the phantom.
He managed to thrust his halberd into one of the phantoms knocking the kaiju down, but much to his dismay, he could see some more phantoms in the distance coming towards him. Haruto didn't want to admit it, but with only three senshis fighting half a dozen phantoms, the odds were against them and Haruto regretted telling the man in red he saw earlier to leave the island.
But Haruto did remember that the island was the designated location of a Sabbath several years back, and the golden mage realized it was certainly plausible that the phantoms from that Sabbath did remain here for so long...

Oh shit. Magic? Was what she had magic? Well...She had a dinosaur partner and a spirit hammer she could summon by tapping into the spiritual energy of her partner. Magic had to be involved somehow, right? She supposed she'd learn through trial and error.
She aimed her GabuRevolver at the phantom closest to her and fired off a series of shots. Hopefully they'd deal some damage.

The phantoms were hit by the shots and stumbled backwards from the successful hits. Sorcerer wasted no time getting close and hacking them down with his halberd, though the sheer numbers of the phantoms were really putting all of them in a pinch as the creatures circled around them before closing in...

Cécile smiled relieved when the phantoms fell back from the force of her shots. Good. Even if she herself couldn't use magic it appeared as though her weapons were made of magical energy or something.
It was true that the GabuRevolver was her main weapon she didn't want to rely on it too much in this fight. She was the tank. Similarly to how her Ankylosaurus partner was covered in armor and could take a hit well, so could she. She wagered that she could take damage better than any of the mages here. So she moved in closer so she could move in front of them and protect them if necessary. Of course there was a trade off to being the tank. Her speed was terrible in comparison to the others. That's why she needed to make sure she was already close so she could shield them if they needed the help.
She started slashing phantoms with her GaburiCalibur sword. She figured at some point she'd need to use her spirit hammer, her personal weapon. But summoning it could be draining so she would wait until she really needed it.

Haruto wasted no time repelling the phantoms away with one his spells and watched the other phantoms get knocked back by the Kyoryuger and mysterious mage.
Separating one of the phantoms away from the main crowd, the golden mage activated his Explosion Spell on it, sending the phantom airborne and into the ocean. Haruto was well aware that it'll come back, but for now he needed to create some breathing space for his comrades.

Cécile whistled when she saw the explosion spell. "It must be nice to be a mage!" she commented jovially, continuing to hack and slash at the phantoms nearest her. "Now, you never did get to explain what the Sabbath was. Do these phantom things have anything to do with that?" she questioned as one of the phantoms hit her hard and she stumbled back.
She wasn't really hurt, though. Just smarting a bit. She was the tank. Her job was to take the tough hits. She got in a blow here and there to keep her opponents on their toes. And when they were completely exhausted, drained from all their attacks, then she really fought back.
