"Um....Yeah, that's me," Cécile acknowledged. "KyoryuCyan at your service," she said wryly, stepping in front of Souma's body. She didn't know who this new guy was and she didn't like the way he didn't seem to be concerned about her passed out allies. She also was a bit suspicious of how he knew who she was. Well...To be fair she did have a dinosaur on her outfit but still...
"Now, can you answer a few questions for me? Like who the hell are you and what the hell happened to my friends here?" she asked, gesturing towards her allies. "And oh yeah...What the hell you're doing here? And you know..possibly hell the how I got here in the first place."

"Ignorance is bliss." the White Wizard spoke before putting on a purple ring. "Now, begone."
Shifting his Wizard Driver's Hand position, he activated his signature spell: EXPLOSION NOW.
Almost instantly, a light magic circle formed underneath the Kyoryuger and detonated, sending a combustion of magic energy at her.

If Cécile had disliked the man before, she loathed him now. "Ignorance isn't bliss!" she seethed. No, she knew that better than anyone. Ignorance to questions that plagued you ate you up inside. You couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, could barely drink. You drank just enough to keep yourself going. And every waking moment you wondered why, how. How could such a thing of happened? Why?
At least now Cécile knew that magic circles definitely equaled bad. But she was the tank and not the speedy fighter. Knowing she'd be unable to dodge she simply braced herself behind her Spirit Hammer as much as possible. Her hammer was made of spiritual energy. Hopefully it would soak up some of the damage.
"Ahhh!" she cried out in agony, as the circle detonated. She fell on top of Souma and struggled to stay conscious, struggled to stay transformed.
"Cybil....Cybil help! Cybil what do I do?!" Something very bad would happen to her allies if she was incapacitated too. Of that much she was certain. She prayed that her partner would send her some image of wisdom. She...She had at least a little bit of fight left in her. Her partner was the mighty Ankylosaurus. It weighed up to six tons and had massive armor! It didn't go down easy! And she had a connection to that spirit!
"Please Cybil, grant me your strength!" she pleaded, trying to force herself into a standing position.

By the time she got up, the White Wizard had already swapped rings and scanned it.
HOLY, NOW
A radiating golden orange orb of powerful light formed on his palm and he tossed it at the Kyoryuger, the impact and blast radius being much more focused than his Explosion spell.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" she yelled, finally standing when an orb of light was tossed her way. She smashed her hammer at the orb screaming "Hammer Tail!". She had no idea of whether or not she'd be able to force the spell back but maybe she could at least lessen the blow.
"Not being a mage sucks!"

The orb was destroyed by the spirit hammer, leaving Cecile completely unharmed. However, the White Wizard was not impressed by her feat and merely activated his 'Connect' spell, summoning his Hamel Cane.
"You're wasting my time..." he told her.

Cécile rolled her eyes. "Yeah...Because I really care about wasting your time," she said sarcastically. Okay, from this moment forward her strategy would simply be stall for time. If she could just hold off until one of the mages regained consciousness they'd probably know what to do. She'd at least be better off than she was now.
She feigned confidence, standing in front of Souma's body with her hammer facing the newcomer's direction. "You are not taking them," she said fiercely.

Once more, Cecile's talking had given him the opportunity to swap rings. Triumphantly, he replied. "Too late."
The White Wizard still needed Mayu to trust him as she, along with Haruto, would be vital to his future plans. Rather than teleporting them off, he ultimately decided to warp Haruto out of the place, as the latter knew too much for his liking and is beyond reasoning. With him out of the way, no one would be able to compromise him and his objective. And so he did.
TELEPORT, NOW
Aiming the spell at Haruto, the White Wizard created a bright light that enveloped his pupil, teleporting him somewhere off to the mainland in a flash. With him gone, the White Wizard focused on the Kyoryuger.

"Shit! I really need to study magic," she cursed as a light teleported Souma away. She had failed to protect him for the moment. She needed to try and get him back but right now she had no idea how to go about that.
So since she knew nothing about magic her best bet was to go on the offensive. She needed to try and stop this guy from casting anymore spells.
She charged at him, Spirit Hammer swinging. "Where did you take Souma?!" she demanded

The White Wizard anticipated that the Kyoryuger would rashly attack him with her Spirit Hammer and he immediately aligned the Hamel Cane to his mouth in a flute-like manner. Blowing into the mouthpiece, an eerie musical tone played among the winds and the Spirit Hammer was ultimately stopped in place. With the attack halted, the White Wizard finished the last note of the music and spun around with his Hamel Cane, slashing through the hammer and canceling it out.

A trembling sensation filled Cécile as the cane slashed through her hammer, causing it to disintegrate in a spark of blue light. She could try to summon it again later but the process was somewhat draining and a little time consuming. Since the person was close she switched to her sword. She threw it defensively up in front of her to block the cane. She'd try to force it back. Chances were she was stronger. Mages relied a lot on magic which typically meant they had neglected their physical training. Whereas someone like her who had no magical knowledge could only try to improve through physical training.
"You will bring him back!" she screamed.

The White Wizard was expecting the Kyoryuger to be weakened by the musical note, so her sword slash caught him by surprised. Lifting his Hamel Cane, he was able to parry the blade, but her strength was enough to break his defense and force him to take a step back.
Of course, the White Wizard was far from being intimidated by mere strength. Her countless times of recklessness had shown him that she wasn't exactly the brains type and the White Wizard sidestepped to get out of her slash range.

The important thing was to keep this guy off balance. She needed to make sure he didn't have enough time to cast spells. She wasn't quick but she was durable. Endurance was her game. As the tank she could accept more hits than most and keep going. And the plan was to stall. She just needed to last until the other mage woke up. Then she could hopefully fix this whole messy situation through magic.
Trying not give this mage any breathing room, she followed him as he stepped back and kept slashing. Hopefully something would connect but if it didn't that was okay. The point was to keep him busy.

The White Wizard crouched dodging some of the slashes, and took the opportunity to uppercut Cecile with the back of his Hamel Cane.

Cécile groaned as his cane connected. Ow! Ow! That really had hurt. But at least it wasn't magic. Physical blows she could tolerate until she had completely lost all traces of stamina. She tried to return his strike with some well placed blows of her own. She relentlessly swung her sword in his direction. Endurance was all she had. Hopefully it would be all she needed. C'mon other mage. Wake up!
