"The Foundation" whatever it was, didn't really care for Dopants. They didn't like them but they didn't consider them as big a threat as other targets Susan had been sent to face. In fact Susan had never been given a mission that involved taking on a Dopant, hence why she was surprised by this most recent task.
Three targets: A pretty young lady, her twin sister and her twin sister's husband. All three of them were Dopants selling memories around London to various criminal gangs. Apparently the Foundation had gotten a little bit awkward with so many Dopants around the city and wanted Susan to take out the heads of the operation. Easier said than done, the police were already out looking for them. Or more precisely: Looking for evidence to convict them. Chances were that they wouldn't take too kindly to a mysterious stranger murdering the three of them.
Susan was standing in the lobby of a high class hotel watching one of her targets (One of the ladies, she didn't know which one) take the lift to her room on the top floor. Susan looked around to ensure noone was following her and then began climbing the stairs.

Why in the universe had Adam gone through with this plan? It was a stupid plan, by all means. Did he really expect to pass as a man of the criminal underworld and steal a load of these strange things called "Gaia Memories". While they were impressive devices, he couldn't allow them to find their way into the hands of killers and thieves. Even now, he waited in a snazzy black suit with sunglasses on in a room on the top floor of said hotel.

Susan reached the top floor and paused outside the glass door onto the red carpeted corridor. She paused, and looked down the hall, all she saw was a man in a suit. The husband? Brown hair at about his neck, sharp suit. She could only see him from behind but she was fairly sure that was him. Probably waiting for his wife to come up from the lift.
Ah, speak of the devil.
The lift reached the floor with a pleasant ding and the lady stepped out. She looked the man in front of her up and down. It couldn't be her husband then if she didn't seem to know him. "I'm sorry, but if you want some of our ... products you will have to go direct to one of our dealers," She crooned, handing him what Susan knew to be a fake business card.
Alright, not the husband but a guy interested in Gaia Memories? Maybe.
The woman was wearing a black business suit and sunglasses with a red leather jacket over the top. Susan readied her key and got ready to jump into the corridor, she could take these two out in no time, but it'd be better if she just killed her target. She waited to see if he'd leave.

Adam took the business card and turned it over deftly. "I see. Well then..." he quickly checked the card before pocketing it. "Mrs van Beren, you can tell your boss that I've invested significantly in the memory business, and I expect my delivery within the week."

"I have no idea what your talking about young man," Van Beren said pointedly "If you'll read the card then you'll see that we sell concrete. If you wish for some of our product please. Talk. To. A. Dealer." The woman glared at him for a second, clearly agitated by something.
"And I'll have you know that I am my own boss." She huffed, walking into her apartment and closing the door. Susan kept watching the man outside her door, placing her key in the belt and getting ready to turn. She just had to hope that he didn't turn around and see her through the glass door ...

"Well, that makes this easier." Adam snapped his fingers to open the door, without even getting up from his chair. "See, I don't actually have any investments in a company like yours. I know this business card is a fake, and I know you're hiding something."

Susan transformed, mouthing the words "Sonnet Shift" as she moved forwards. She came to the door and peeked round the corner before turning the fog key in her belt. A white mist started to spread through the room.
"I have no idea, what you're talking about. But seeing as you're breaking and entering the-" Van Beren paused and looked past Adam's shoulder "Is that smoke?"

Adam raised his eyebrow and turned his head. "It's fog. This your idea?"

VanBuren got to her feet and pulled a small device from her jacket. It was a bright sickly green and covered in what looked like a moulded rib cage. The centre of the device had a stylised "J" which appeared to be a harlequin's face, it's hat forming the horizontal line and it's long grinning head curving into a J at the end. The woman pushed a button on the device and it called out "JESTER!"
She kicked out at Adam and in the timing slid the device into a mark hid just under the hem of her dress. There was a flash of light and a psychotic laugh as her body turned green and her arms grew longer, ending in vicious claws, her feet shifted into strange curled boots and her head was adorned with a jester hat that ended in crudely shaped spikes.
Susan burst into the room at the same time and held her weapon up at the cackling dopant.

Adam was sent flying backwards and hit himself against a radiator. He rubbed his head and staggered up. "Owwww."

Susan charged forward through the fog and fired a few shots off at the Jester Dopant.

"This is going better than I expected." Adam said, swiping his left hand across his right. "Kandor Power!" he shouted as he morphed.

Susan was knocked across to her side and was forced to use her blade to parry the blow. Noticing that the man she'd been watching had changed his form into some kind of blue and black fighter. She slammed her sword backwards and knocked the Jester Dopant into the window, which cracked and buckled under the strain. Susan fired off a few shots towards the newcomer and took a few steps back so that she could keep both her adversary's in sight.
"... Bring it." She muttered, switching her weapon into sword mode.

"Let's take this...woah!" Adam raised his arm to block the shots.
"Oh, right. You still think I'm an evil businessman. I'm not, though." To prove his point, he swung his leg around and tripped up the Jester Dopant.

Susan tried to pin him against the wall with the flat of her blade, the weapon was pointing at the Jester Dopant and she fired another shot into it's chest. "How do I know you won't just shoot me the moment I move?" She hissed.
