History
One of the seven Archangels tasked with defending God Uriel has served Paradiso for many, many years. He was chosen long ago by none other than Michael himself due to his talent in both swordplay and angelic magic and takes great pride in that he was chosen to be part of the seven Archangels. He continued to serve Paradiso for many years as one of their elites and had actually battled Moloch for eons and had become his rival.
However as time went on both Paradiso and Inferno realized that humans had began to use magic, though nothing of the sort that they were capable of, however it brought great worry among both sides due to the fact that the humans were now attempting to communicate with both sides. They realized that if humans continue in this fashion that they would bring the collapse of order completely and the whole world would descend into arnachy.
Therefore to counter this they began to send a mediator of magic, angel and demon that would serve as a guide for the humans. Naturally the angels would work alongside the light magicians while the demons with the dark as was their nature to do so. However both ensured that neither side had too much power and if that happened then they were tasked with forming with the opposite side of a spell that would counter the strength of the other side.
Hence with this in play the balance of the world continued to be maintained. Finally it was Uriel’s turn and much to his chargin he believed himself to be overqualified for the job and asked for another angel to do it. However recently the usage of magic had spiked to unpredescented heights and both Inferno and Paradiso needed their best to ensure that the world did not turn into a smoldering ash. Thus with little choice Uriel went down to the human world and began his duties.
