"I know a lot of things," Uriel said, "it's part of my job to know things about magicians. Have to keep everything in check and all you know, not like my partner who just sits around and eats everyday."

Erika gulped. "What do yo mean keep everything in check?! I'm not doing anything wrong! I'm trying to protect people! I have to look into these things so I can try and prevent them! I want to save the people I see being hurt!"

"So you say...however sometimes interfering in the future can have grave consequences, for both you and the person you're trying to save, I'm not saying you shouldn't try to save people. I am merely cautioning you. And with that I bid you good day," as he turned and walked away.

Erika shook her head. That had been really weird; but, she didn't have time to fixate on that now. She returned to her crystal ball.

Uriel continued to observe Erika, watching her closely and reading her next move.

'Erika, you need to relax a bit. If you keep going like this you won't learn anything new. You've been pushing yourself too hard. You need to take a break.' 'Why is it so difficult?! I just want to help others!' 'Did you think divining the future would be simple? No, it's a dark complicated business. People made it sound like my visions were easy to read but it was not so. It took a lot of training and discipline. And trust me, you won't catch anything new like this. Take a break.'
Erika reluctantly set her crystal ball down. Merlin was right. She hadn't garnered any new clues from the last couple of times. She was tense and both wired and exhausted.
She extracted a book on magical history and began reading it. She'd try to put her head in a different place for at least a couple of minutes before attempting anything else.

"How long are you going to look at her?" Moloch asked.
"A while," Uriel simply said as Moloch sighed.
"You know...under normal circumstances this would be called stalking."
"In this circumstance it's called saving her life."

Erika gave herself a good half hour of reading. She admittedly did feel better when she was done. Okay! Time to take another crack it! She once more gazed into her crystal ball and summoned the vision. Merlin, was right. She needed to be as calm about this as possible if she wished to learn anything new. In a sense, this wasn't real. It hadn't happened yet. She needed to view the situation logically, not emotionally.
