Overview:

He's completely narcissistic and full of himself. He believes that Greeeds by their very nature are superior to humans and he without question is the best, most competent, and most intelligent Greeed.  Yes, he's in a somewhat weakened state at the moment but he's adaptable. He can dig through his host's memories and learn how to utilize all of the human's shiny new toys to help him with his quest.  He doesn't particularly like relying on the inferior beings and their stuff to accomplish his goals but he'll always use whatever tools are available.

Although he thinks more of himself than he should, he is none-the-less clever. He comes up with good plans for the war and he's certainly driven to win it.  Although he is clever he can be somewhat impulsive.  When an opportunity presents itself he lunges into it right away for fear of losing it.  This has allowed him to fall into several traps.

For the most part, Ankh looks down upon and shuns humans, viewing them as foolish for being so easily taken in by their desires.  However, he does hold a begrudging respect for his 000, finding himself similar to him in many ways. They share narcissism, cleverness, and a certain impulsiveness.  As horrifying as it is to comtemplate, Ankh believes Nathan would have been the person he most resembled if he were born human.  He'll act like he doesn't care about Nathan and say to Nathan's face that he's just using him as a tool but he's actually surprisingly protective of his 000.  He will shield his 000 with his own body if necessary. His protectiveness for his partner's life really disturbs him. He tries to rationalize it away, telling himself he's simply shielding his best pawn so he can surprise the king with checkmate.  However, he knows it's more than that and is upset by this turn of events.

Recently he's also run into a blind girl who has caught his attention.  Despite his best efforts he finds himself drawn to her. Again he's disturbed by this affection towards a human.

He really loves sweet foods and will convince his 000 to buy them for him or he'll steal them himself.

Appearance is really important to Ankh.  He wants to always appear strong and well groomed. He will spend a good deal of time picking out his clothes and brushing his hair before stepping out of the house. If he's borrowing a human form then he'd better well be the best looking human around.  After all even the most handsome and well dressed human is nothing compared to his glorious bird form.

Although he doesn't care much for humans he loves birds and will admire them or call them to him and pet them whenever he sees them.  He can be somewhat distracted by them.

Like his 000, Ankh isn't really a fighter.  When the need arises he can fight and fight well but he prefers to rely on guile, manipulation, and theft to obtain what he wants.  He wishes to win the war but he'd rather it be less messy.  He wants people to fight for him and give him what he wants. Or he wishes to simply steal Medals from his opponents.

  Fighting Style: He does a lot of dodging and swooping.  He is very flighty and tries to fly away from anything that would hurt him or ruffle his feathers.  When he feels he is more or less safe he will then swoop in and peck at his opponents so to speak.  A quick attack followed by a quick getaway. He plays a war of attrition, dodging and getting a few good shots in here and there, wearing down his opponents until they're too tired to deal any real damage. Then he strikes seriously.

Ankh was created hundreds of years ago when the copy OOO Drivers were created. He was meant to embody the powers of fire, and the Red OOO.  Eight centuries ago, the seven armies were wiped out by each other in the original 000 war. Everyone was sealed by the alchemists who made all of the powers.


The seal finally broke, and he was freed, with his Driver and his Medals. He began to seek out a new 000 user for the renewed war. Being very picky and only wanting the best human, he took his time finding his user.  He studied potential candidates for a bit before running into Nathan Alec. Once he saw Nathan he selected him very quickly, admiring the qualities in Nathan that he himself possessed. He gave him the red materials and Nathan became one of the seven 000, while he became his backer and benefactor.

He never planned on getting attached to Nathan but as the two are very similar he did begin to develop some affection for him. He spends much more time with his 000 than the other Greeeds. He tries to convince himself that this is a matter of strategy and protection but secretly he's quite fond of Nathan. He doesn't want any other 000 but him. As such, he is very protective and always wants to be fairly close by if he can help it so he can guard his 000 if need be. Also, although he'd profusely deny it, he is rather fond of Nathan's company, believing him to be a human of surprisingly impeccable taste. He compensates for his frustrating attachment by constantly telling Nathan he's a tool.  And after he protects Nathan or otherwise shields him, he'll call Nathan worthless and insist that he wouldn't have needed to help if his pawn weren't so weak.  However, from his observations Nathan is very perceptive and likely sees through his ploys.
