Overview: Anna has a decent sense of humor. She has a natural drive to protect people. She can be naïve at times but is good at heart. She loves flirting with anyone she sees. Anna is also a bit of a showoff, as she can never back down from a challenge.


Hero Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Magician
Type Of Hero: Mage
Henshin Device: Anna has a duplicate of the WizarDriver called the StageDriver. The Stage Driver is usually kept in an inactive form as a belt buckle called the Hand Author until she swipes the Driven On Ring in front of it. She also transforms using the Stage Ring, a black and silver version of this.
Henshin Sequence: Anna puts on her summons the StageDriver by swiping the Driver On Ring in front of the inactive StageDriver. She then turns the Driver to the left and swipes her Stage Ring over the buckle, starting the change. A black seal of energy sweeps over her from the left, transforming her into Magician.

Image/ Description: Magician’s helmet resembles a ring, with the silver jewel being the mask. The jewel’s setting contours to form eyes and a mouthplate. Perched atop the helmet is a top hat that is both attached and not depending on the spell being used (magic and all). The suit is red with white accents at the gauntlets and boots. The suit has a belted longcoat attached resembling a suit coat with tails. The chest of the jacket resembles white stone, and is patterned to give the illusion that it is undershirt.

Fighting Style: Kamen Rider Magician fights using her Spellblade and Stage Wand in tandem. She relies on her spells a lot, though she can deal damage on her own. Anna also has speed to back up her strength, but she isn’t the best at taking damage. She also has a tendency to use cards as projectiles.
Weapons:
Stage Wand: A wand resembling a magician’s wand. While this is traditionally Kamen Rider Magician’s main weapon, Anna uses it in tandem or as a backup to the Spellblade. The Stage Wand projects blasts of pure magic, and can only be used by Magician. Other people can use it with Magician’s permission, but really they are acting as an extension of Magician.
Spellblade: A single edged longsword with runes etched into the blade. The handguard contains a miniature Hand Author (like the WizarSwordGun) that allows her to use finishing attacks. The blade is made if silver so that it can be used to kill Phantoms, though it’s not very magical on its own.
Abilities: Anna has a number of Trick Rings that allow her to cast spells. Many of the rings have magic tricks based on them by modern stage magicians. Whenever Anna swipes a ring, a feminine voice declares “-effect-, Center Stage!” Some of her spells are cast through her Wand, and some just get cast. Anna is still crafting and reawakening rings.

[*]Mental Ring: Allows the user to read base thoughts in a target, provided that they are a)hit by a blast from the Stage Wand or b)physically touched by Magician or an extension of her.

Finisher(s):
Cheap Trick; Anna swipes her Kick Strike ring over her Hand Author. She then jumps into the air, using a seal as a springboard, and then jumps footfirst into the enemy. Anna has figured out a punching variation too that involves her using the seal to launch herself forward instead of up.
Houdini Havoc; Anna swipes her Stage Ring over the Hand Author on the Spellblade. Anna fires off a beam of magic from the sword with a slash, cutting the enemy in two.

History

Anna comes from a long line of magicians, both stage and ringed. Magician is an old system, having originally been created at the turn of the nineteenth century. Many vaudeville magicians and escape artists dedicated themselves to recreating the tricks of Alistair Harlan. As a tongue in cheek joke, many of the users of Magician have taken to the stage to do the spells the real way.

Anna is only the latest of the Magicians. On the day Anna and Finn were born, it was determined that they were both Gates by their clairvoyant aunt. However, their aunt also told their father Alexander that the day of their birth was a bad omen. Mages born on the Fifth of November often became tainted by dark powers, a phenomenon known as the Curse of November. Similar occurances happen with Mages born on the First of April, Leap Day, or the Ides Of March. Alexander brushed this off as an old superstition…

That was until their thirteenth birthday. On that day an earthquake hit Las Vegas, destroying the house they lived in. Alexander shielded Finn and Anna in his transformed state, but wasn’t able to save Felicia. Felicia’s sister then told Alexander that in ten years’ time something worse would happen. And she was correct.

By this time Anna had moved to Japan. There she had gotten a job as an entertainer in a local luxury hotel. Alexander visted her in person to tell her the horrible news; Finn had gone missing. Alexander had fallen into despair after the event, and another magician had to destroy his Phantom. Now powerless, Alexander bestowed upon Anna the StageDriver and Stage Ring.

“Annabeth, it’s time for you to take up the mantle.”

And so, Anna became Magician, and decided that she WOULD find Finn.
